Opinio Quest Review – It is a Scam? Does it Pay?

Welcome to my Opinio Quest review!

I’ve stumbled across another website where you can get paid for taking surveys. It’s called Opinion Quest! 

The site was launched in 2019 by a marketing research firm called Elicit Research LLC.

On the homepage, it says Opinio Quest rewarded over 3 million dollars so far.

I find it a bit odd and suspicious considering the site was launched in 2019. Anyway…

My mission here is to explain how Opinio Quest works and give you my honest opinion based on my own experience.

What is Opinio Quest?

Opinio Quest is a survey website where you will get rewarded for sharing your opinions.

The platform consists mainly of survey routers from other big marketing companies like Cint and Your Surveys.

That means you will complete surveys from third-party survey providers and accumulate points in your Opinio Quest account.

After you have earned 2000 points, you can redeem via Tango gift card.

Unfortunately, Opinio Quest doesn’t process payments via PayPal or any other method, which is a real bummer for most people.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• Earn $5 as a signup bonus.
• There are lots of surveys available.
• You will earn 2 points if you get disqualified.

Cons

• It doesn’t process payments via PayPal nor Amazon Gift cards.
• The minimum payout is $20.

How Does Opinio Quest Work?

Registration

Opinio Quest is only open for US residents who are at least 18 years old.

The registration is very quick and easy.

Simply click on Register and answer a few profiling questions.

You will earn a generous bonus of 500 points ($5) just for signing up.

Build Your profile

Before you apply for surveys, I advise clicking on “Build Your profile” and answering as many questions as possible.

As you know, Market research companies are always looking for people with specific demographics (age, gender, education, health conditions, etc).

By building your profile, you are helping Opinio Quest find more surveys that fit you.

Points Vs Cash Rewards

At Opinio Quest, 100 points equal 1 USD.

But don’t worry about the points because they will always show the cash amount on the side.

So, you will know exactly how much money you will earn before taking the survey.

Online Surveys

I have to confess I was impressed with the number of surveys available on the dashboard.

As of writing this review, there are over 20 surveys in the main survey tab plus 10 surveys in the “partner offers” section.

Some of them may be closed by the time you apply, and when that happens, you will be redirected to another study.

At Opinio Quest, surveys pay anywhere between $0.50 to $6 and take 10 – 20 minutes to complete.

However, most surveys actually pay less than $2.

Keep in mind that you will answer a few pre-screening questions before you are allowed to complete the paid survey.

Unfortunately, you won’t qualify for every study, which is why many people get discouraged with surveys.

It can be very frustrating to make less than $2 after spending more than 1 hour in front of the computer.

I used to take surveys, so I know it can be VERY unproductive!

Marketing research companies can also screen you out because you are rushing or giving inconsistent answers.

Therefore, you should always provide truthful answers and complete surveys in a realistic timeframe.

Refer a Friend 

You can refer your friends to join Opinio Quest via email through the platform.

However, they don’t tell you how much money you can earn by referring people, if any.

Not only that but there is no referral link that you can share on social media, blog, etc.

Payment

This is the most disappointing aspect of Opinio Quest.

You can only cash out via Tango Gift card once you have at least 2,000 points ($20).

Unlike most legit GPT (get paid to) and survey sites, here is no option do redeem points via PayPal nor Amazon gift cards.

Conclusion

Opinio Quest seems like a legit platform to complete surveys from third-party providers.

I believe the site pays out, but there are not many people sharing their experiences on the internet.

So, I advise caution!

Another downside is that you can only cash out via Tango gift card when you reach $20.

I don’t take surveys anymore, but if I did, I would focus all my energy on Prizerebel and Prolific Academic.

In my opinion, those are the best sites to complete surveys at the moment.

Verdict: Legit

My #1 Recommendation – $1,600/mo

The reason I don’t take surveys is that there is a much better method to make money online called affiliate marketing.

I am currently making over $1,600 per month by creating helpful content and promoting other people’s products through my website.

Lots of people are working from home or while traveling the world thanks to this proven business model.

This strategy is ideal for those who want to break free from the 9-5 and achieve time and location freedom!
