Happy Surveys is a reward app where you can get paid real cash for completing quick surveys and simple tasks.

For example, they may ask you to download an application and comply with specific requirements.

The great thing about apps like Happy Surveys is that they allow you to earn money while you anytime, anywhere you want.

Once you collect enough credits, Happy Surveys allows you cash out via your PayPal account. It seems pretty neat in theory, but does it actually work?

How Does Happy Surveys Work?

Getting Started

After installing the app on Google Play or App Store, accept the Terms of Service and tap the Start button.

Although you don’t need to register, you can collect 100 credits by completing a small profile questionnaire. This will help them serve better surveys for you.

Enter the Settings tab and click “Edit” at the top. Next, you just need to provide your full name, gender, age, and occupation.

Credits and Rewards

Before completing any task, it’s important to know how much your credits are worth. Currently, 10,000 = $10.

The only payment method available in PayPal, and you can request the following payment:

$10 = 10000 credits
$20 = 20000 credits
$50 = 50000 credits

Complete Surveys

In the Surveys tab, you will find a list with all the opportunities that are currently available.

Bear in mind that all the surveys in the app are provided by third party research companies such as Pollfish, Nielsen and Quick Thoughts.

By accepting to take part in a marketing research study, the agency will ask you a few questions to discern whether you are eligible for the survey.

Depending on your answers, you may not qualify for the study and you won’t receive the credits.

You should always complete the survey correctly and honestly to avoid getting blacklisted. This is really important because they have automated systems to detect contradictions.

Most surveys take 10 – 20 minutes and the number of credits you earn depends on your country.

For example, US residents can expect to collect, on average, 1000 credits per survey. That’s equivalent to $1.

There are surveys that pay more or less depending on their length and complexity.

Complete Tasks

In the Tasks section, Happy Surveys will give you more credits for installing and using third-party applications.

You only get the points if you fulfil all the requirements. Here are some examples:

Load the Mistplay application. Play games until you’ve reached profile number 5 within the app.
Play State of Survival. Complete headquarters level 21 and redeem your points.
Install eToro, open your account and make a minimum deposit of $200.

Some offer pay really well, but they require you to play a game for many hours or risk your hard-earned money.

I would avoid completing offers that ask for deposits since there is no guarantee the advertiser will pay you.

Watch Videos

Many people don’t realize, but there is a small play button on the top-right corner. If you tap it, you Happy Surveys will display a video ad.

You can collect 2 credits after watching the video until the end, meaning you need to watch 500 videos to earn just $1. It’s not worth it!

Besides, most ads are about fake money games that claim to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Please, don’t fall for them!

Invite Friends

Another way to earn points is by inviting friends to install Happy Surveys. You will get 200 credits for every friend that completes 2 surveys.

To get referrals, click the “invite friends” link inside Settings and choose any of the following methods: Email, WhatsApp, SMS, copy invite code.

Does Happy Surveys Pay?

There are many disappointed users who are struggling to cash out. I checked the reviews on Google Play and notices there are mixed feeling about it. Here are some complaints worth sharing:

People complete the task and don’t receive the credits.
Someone cashed out $10, but didn’t get paid.
The app just doesn’t work.
It takes a long time to redeem.

One thing that caught my attention was that after reading lots of review, I didn’t find a single person who was able to cash out.

Usually, it’s not so difficult to find a success story when the app truly pays. That’s why very skeptical about Happy Surveys.
