What is CashPirate?

Cashpirate is an application that rewards users for running other apps, completing offers, taking surveys, watching videos, inviting friends and more.

It’s very similar to App Flame, Money Cube, Applike, App Bounty and many others!

The app is available only for Android devices, but if you have an iOS, you can use another app called Gift Panda, which is operated by the same company and it has equal opportunities.

Whenever you complete a task, you will earn coins that can be redeemed via PayPal cash, Bitcoin, Prepaid virtual visa, and Gift Cards.

Each coin is worth $0.001.

 

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • It’s an easy way to make money.
  • Depending on your country (UK, US, Canada), there are many opportunities.
  • The minimum payout amount is only $2.5 (2500 coins).

Cons

  • The app is quite slow.
  • They have access to your phone number and wi-fi details.
  • Low-income potential.
  • They can terminate your account for any reason.

 

Is CashPirate a Scam?

I don’t think Cashpirate is a scam, but as with most money-making apps, there are lots of complaints.

In the review section of the Play Store, some people claim Cashpirate didn’t give credits, and some had their accounts banned before cash out.

After checking their Terms and Condition, I discovered the company could terminate your account for any reason.

Here is the termination clause:

“In addition, ayeT-Studios may, at any time: (a) modify, suspend or terminate the operation of or access to your user account for any reason; “

So, if you use CashPirate, be aware that you may not earn any money as they have the right to ban you if they want.

 

How Does it Work?

Before the installation, CashPirate will ask permission to have access to your phone number, your device ID, and Wi-Fi connection information.

According to their Privacy Policy, they can use the information you provide for marketing purposes.

Because you have access to your phone number, I suppose they can make marketing calls.

I have installed lots of apps on my smartphone to review on my blog, and now I receive calls from unknown numbers a couple of times per day, which is very annoying!

If you don’t want to be bothered with such calls, I advise you to avoid cash apps that require these permissions.

Alternatively, you can use the app on another device with another chip.

 

Earning Coins

CashPirate has many ways to earn points called “coins”, such as:

 

Downloading and running other apps

Most of these apps are games, and usually, you must use the app for a few seconds or reach a certain level to receive the points.

Completing offers

You can find mainly many offers such as free sign ups, free trials, and prize draws.

Read the terms and conditions of each offer carefully to avoid unnecessary charges.

Some offers that give more coins require a purchase as you can see in the screenshot below.

Also, expect to receive lots of marketing calls and emails if you accept prize draw offers.

 

Online Surveys

You can earn coins for taking easy online surveys, but the payout is usually smaller than offers.

Another disadvantage of online surveys is that you can waste time trying to qualify and be screened out in the process.

 

Watching videos

Another way to earn coins is by watching short clips via different offer walls, such as SponsorPay, TrialPay, and Adcolony.

The pay rate of video ads is even lower than online surveys!

 

Inviting Friends

You can share your referral’s code with your friends if the person inserts the code after installing Cashpirate, you will earn 10% of all your referral’s earnings. Plus, you will get 5% of the coins of your referral’s referral.

Unless you have hundreds of active referrals, you won’t earn much!

 

Cash out

When you reach at least 2500 coins, you can redeem $2.5 via PayPal cash, Gift cards, and even Bitcoin.

 

Conclusion

Cashpirate is not a scam, but the problem is that many people don’t know the company can ban their accounts even if they do nothing wrong.

Many people report being banned and not getting paid, which is appalling and discouraging!

I don’t use cash apps to make money online, but if I did, I would not risk wasting my time with CashPirate.

There is nothing worse than spending hours and even money on different offers and don’t get paid in the end.

Not to mention they can have access to your phone number and other details.

That’s why I don’t recommend CashPirate and many other cash apps.

  1. Nice article- and NICE TITLE! It attracted me instantly.
    I used to download and play a lot of ‘money making’ apps. But I gave them up after spending hours on them trying to make a $1- and all I ever got was a little over .25 sense. Not worth it for me.

    I never heard of this particular app though- it sounded cool at the start, but after you stated that a lot of accounts get band before cash out- I decided not to look into it.

    1. Yeah, I know some people are not lucky with these apps. I have tried CashPirate but I haven’t reached the minimum cashed out amount.

  2. Thanks for this review. One of my daughters asked me to look at this as a friend of hers had recommended it – having read your article presumably for the referral. I’ll be telling my daughter to steer clear. Two big red flags for me – the banning for any cause as you point out and using the private information for marketing etc etc etc. It also doesn’t feel like a great idea to pass out all your device ID and wifi info. I think I’ll get her to check out your recommendation and see where that leads her if she wants to make some $$ online.

      By using apps like CAshPirate, you are giving out some of your personal data to marketing research companies. It may have access to your phone number and use it for marketing purposes. I think if want to use these apps, the best thing is to buy another chip number and use an alternative email address.

  3. Good and fair analysis on Cash Pirate apps. Initially I thought you are promoting this apps until I read your concluding statement. Nice to read on all ohher alternatives suggested by you, will check them up when I have time.
