Viewfruit is a survey panel that allows you to take part in marketing research studies and get paid for your opinions. The platform is available in 32 countries and can be used on desktop or Android devices via the Viewfruit app.
As a member, you can earn points by answering interesting surveys and referring friends. You can also answer polls and post questions for other members to vote. However, you won’t get points for this activity.
So, what you can expect from Viewfruit? Is it a legit and trustworthy survey panel? How much money can you make? Keep reading to find out why I don’t recommend it.Â

How Does Viewfruit Work?Â
Registration
Creating an account is very straightforward. You can create a free account via either the website or mobile application.
If you are using the Viefruit website, click on the “register” button and fill in your basic personal information. As for the app registration, you just have to launch and follow the instructions.
Next, you should also provide some value-added information. You can skip the questions if you want, but it’s important to provide as many details as possible to qualify for more surveys. There are different categories of questionnaires such as travel, healthcare, car enthusiasts, and finance.
Upon finishing your registration, you will earn a signup bonus of 100 points.
Viewfruit Point System
Once you participate in a survey successfully, Viewfruit will award you points. Each survey has different points based on length, complexity, and value.
500 Viewfruit points equal to $1 (1 GBP if you live in the UK).
One of the main downsides of Viewpoint is that the rate of pay is below average. Most surveys will pay you less than 400 points ($0.40).Â
V-Surveys
To participate in marketing research studies, click on V-surveys and choose one from the list.
They will also send you survey invitations via email. If you don’t want to receive emails from the company, simply deactivate email invitations in the Privacy Settings.
Viewfruit will show you the number of points you will earn prior to commencing the survey. However, they omit the average length, so you cannot calculate the payment rate. That’s not good!
I wouldn’t like to complete a 30-minute survey to earn a measly $1 since that would be a terrible rate in the UK.
Before taking part in a study, you must answer a few qualification questions. You may get disqualified if your answers don’t meet the requirements. You will get just 1 point (1 cent) for every survey disqualification.
Lots of people complain that it’s very hard to qualify for Viewpoint surveys. I tried to complete one survey and failed on my first attempt. Some people also complain that they get screened you out halfway through the survey, which extremely frustrating!

Referral Program
Apart from participating in surveys, you can also get Viewfruit points by inviting friends. For every survey they complete, the system will award you 10% of the points they earn. You can check your survey team in your friend list.
Lucky Draw
Once you successfully complete a survey, you can enter the Lucky draw for a chance to win anywhere between 10 to 100,000 points. You are entitled to enter up to 8 prize draws per day.
V-Vote
In the V-Vote section, you can answer the polls created by the Viewpoint members, and you can also ask questions. Either way, you won’t earn any points for your participation.
How Do You Get Paid?Â
You can redeem $5 via PayPal upon reaching 2,500 points. You may also redeem your points for Amazon or iTunes gift cards. According to the FAQ, redemption audits take place on Fridays, you can expect to get paid within 1 – 5 business days after the audit.
Pros and Cons of Viewfruit

Cons
- Low cash incentives compared to many other survey panels.
- There are not many surveys.
- It’s hard to qualify.
- It takes a long time to reach 2,500 points and requests a payout.
Conclusion – Is Viewfruit Legit?
Viewfruit is a legitimate website/app and you are supposed to get paid once you reach the minimum payout. But here is the problem: It’s hard to qualify and collect your reward.Â
Besides, the panel doesn’t offer a decent cash incentive compared to other panels, so it can take a very long time to cash out.
If you live in a wealthy country in Europe, the US, or the UK, you are much better off joining Prolific, which pays at least $6.50 or £5 per survey. It’s a world of difference!
Verdict: Legit/ Not RecommendedÂ

Completing surveys is usually a very frustrating experience. Although they will never admit it, companies collect the information they need from us and then screen us out just to avoid payment.
