What is Prizes Drop?
Prizes Drop is a GPT (get-paid-to) site where you can complete offers, download apps, take surveys, and watch YouTube videos in return for points. You can also get points for inviting friends to join Prizes Drop through your affiliate link.
Once you gather enough points, you can trade them for eGift Cards or even PayPal cash.
The platform is owned and operated by SEDOC LLC, which has paid almost $60,000 to users worldwide. The site is not very popular yet, but it’s growing fast thanks to massive advertising efforts.
Just like all reward sites, you can create an account for free and start collecting points in no time.
Although Prizes Drop is available worldwide, the number of tasks differs from country to country. Residents in the US, and Canada usually benefit from more opportunities, and thus, make more money.
Is Prizes Drop Legit? Does it Pay?
No, I am confident Prizes Drop is a legitimate website.
After careful research, I did not find any serious complaint about the platform in forums, blogs, or social media. Besides, it has been rated over 4 stars out of 5 on both Trustpilot and ForexRating.
Upon reaching the minimum payout threshold, you should get paid with no issues. I haven’t seen any report on payment delays, which is reassuring!
Sometimes, tasks may not credit for various reasons, but missing points are not exclusive to Prizes Drop. Unfortunately, even reputable GPT platforms are prone to errors because of the complexity in tracking offers.
Pros and Cons
- There are lots of cash out options including PayPal and Amazon eGift cards.
- There are many Offer Walls, with a ton of opportunities to earn points.
- Get paid to watch YouTube videos.
- Earn 50 points as a start-up bonus.
- Earn points just by posting links on gaming sites and forums.
- Low earning potential.
- Referral commissions are not based on the percentage of referrals’ points.
How Does Prizes Drop Work?
How to Register
If you want to become a member, simply create a free account by providing your email and password. You can also sign up with your Google or Facebook account.
Prizes Drop will give you 50 points as a signup bonus. Speaking of which, it’s important to know how much money one point is worth.
Points vs Rewards
The value of a point at Prizes Drop depends on the payment method, but overall, one point is worth $0.002 or the equivalent in your currency.
If you live in the USA or Canada, you will need 5000 points to withdraw a $10 Amazon gift card.
You can also redeem points for a variety of eGift cards from major retailers as well as PayPal, Visa, and MasterCard prepaid.
How to Earn Points
There is a wide range of tasks you can complete at Prizes Drop. Most tasks can be found inside third-party providers known as Offer Walls.
Offer Walls are third-party platforms where you can find different types of offers from advertisers such as online casinos, marketing research firms, game developers, and more!
Prizes Drop connects you with 15 Offer Walls, most of which are also available in hundreds of other GPT sites and reward apps. These are the current Offer Walls available worldwide:
AdGatMedia, OfferToro, Peanut Labs, ayeT-Studio, TheoremReach, Hang My Ads, AdscendMedia, RevenueUniverse, Wannads, Persona.ly, Kiwi Wall, Ad Work Media, CPA Lead, RevenueWall.
For example, with OfferToro, you can earn points for downloading mobile apps, completing surveys, and watching videos. Most of the other platforms provide similar opportunities.
Users can make over $100 per month by answering surveys from Dynata, Your Surveys, Theorem Reach, and TapResearch. These are leading companies that allow you to participate multiple times a day.
Just keep in mind that depending on your country and profile, it can be very tough to qualify. You may have to spend hours only to complete a handful of surveys.
In this section, you will get points for trying different games on your mobile device.
You must not only install the app but also achieve a specific milestone such as reach a specific level or play for consecutive days.
For example, the War Thunder asks you to register and make progress in 3 days.
Gaming offers can also be found in many other Offer Walls. Just be aware that Prizes Drop will only credit your account if you are a new user.
Prizes Drop TV
In Prizes Drop TV, you will collect points just by watching YouTube clips. YouTubers advertise their videos on Prizes Drop and you get paid to help them increase their views.
As you are watching the video, you can see your point balance growing in real-time.
You will earn approximately 0.1 points per minute of video, which is practically nothing! To give you an idea, you will need to watch approximately 5000 minutes or 83 hours of videos to make just $1 worth of points.
Another way to collect points is by sharing your referral link with friends or anyone on the internet. When you recruit a new member, you will get $1 as soon as they earn 500 points.
Prize Drop also gives you 10 – 500 points for every link that you post on forums or gaming websites. In this case, you must show proof by submitting the URL where the link was promoted.
Prizes Drop is probably the GPT site that connects you with the largest array of Offer Walls.
There is nothing negative about the site except for the low and limited referral commission rate.
Other than that, it doesn’t differ much from other GPT sites. The cash incentive is low but there are lots of opportunities!
As I mentioned, it’s possible to achieve a consistent $100+ per month if you qualify for lots of surveys. As for gaming offers, there is a risk of not getting points after hours of gameplay.
