Stato app is a social media platform that claims you can earn points for every activity such as uploading, sharing and viewing original content on your mobile device.
You can then turn your points to money and withdraw via PayPal, MasterCard, Visa or Skrill. If you use social media, why not get paid to do all the things you already do on a daily basis?
At first glance, Stato seems like a great opportunity to make easy money, but if this app was actually paying, why is it still not as popular as Facebook and Instagram?
You probably know that lots of reward apps on Google Play make it hard or even impossible for users to make real money. There are potential problems which can waste your time and patience. So, is Stato a scam or legit application? Does it pay or not?
If you are serious about making money online, check out my #1 recommendation. It’s the same program that helped me reach $1,600/mo working from home. No special skills required!
Stato App Review
- Name: Stato
- Developer: Sherif Mahmoud
- Membership eligibility: Worldwide (+18)
- Price: Free
- Overall Rating: 2/5
How Does Stato Work?
Stato is a social media app that allows you to upload, view and share content in the form of videos, images, and gifs. You can also follow other users, like and comment on their posts. However, you cannot send private messages to other users on the platform.
The main difference between Stato and other popular social media platforms is that it gives you points that you can redeem for real money.
The Stato app is available only on Android devices and is 100% free to join. You use it as a visitor, but if you want to collect points, you will need to log in using Facebook, Google or phone number.
You will earn 1 p for viewing status, 2 p for sharing status and 3 p for uploading new content. Bear in mind that your content should be original and not copyrighted. You can also share the Stato app with your friends and earn 100 p if they become a new user.
Some people complain that the app is glitchy and that it takes a long time to get your content approved. However, what worries me the most about the Stato app is that they don’t provide the Terms and Conditions.
Without a legally binding contract between you and the app, I suspect the company may sell, publish and make money out of your videos and photos.
How Do You Get Paid?
You can supposedly convert 100,000 points to $10 paid through PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, or Skrill. Therefore, 1 point is worth $0.0001.
Think about it. You have to view 10,000 videos and photos to make a measly $1!
Is Stato App Legit? Does it Pay?
There are lots of positive reviews about Stato on Google Play, but I couldn’t find anyone who received the payment yet. That is probably because reaching 100,000 p takes a very long time, and many people give up along the way. nevertheless, I cannot say the app is a scam without solid proof.
What I can say is that there are no guarantee that you will get paid, and I would be very surprised if you did.
Pros and Cons
- Easy way to earn points.
- Withdraw via PayPal.
- The ads are intrusive and annoying.
- It takes a long time to get your content approved.
- There is no Terms and Conditions.
- It takes a long time to reach 100,000 ($10), and cash out.
- Points have very little value
The concept behind the Stato app is very interesting. Users earn points to view, share and upload content on social media. Unfortunately, points have very little value and it takes a very long time to cash out.
Earn a Full-Time Income Online
If you want to create an alternative source of income online, I suggest that you build your own online business. I have walked the way, and I don’t regreat it!
Thanks to this excellent program that I joined back in 2015, I created an affiliate site that earns over $1,600 per month. The best thing about having a website is the opportunity to make money on my own terms and have more freedom.
You don’t need to be an expert in any subject, but you must be prepared to take action after each lesson. You can actually sign up for free and see if you like.
