GetPaidToTry Surveys Review
- Name: GetPaidToTry Surveys
- Price: Free to join
- Type: Online Surveys
- Overall Rating: 2/5
What is GetPaidToTry Surveys?
GetPaidToTry Surveys is a survey panel that allows people from different countries to share their opinions and earn cash rewards.
The website is operated by ClearVoice Research, a marketing research firm located in Denver, Colorado. It also runs Clear Voice Surveys, which is a similar website that I reviewed a while ago.
In addition to earning cash for taking surveys, it’s also possible to get commissions when you invite other people to join.
Pros and Cons
- It’s free to join.
- It’s easy “job”.
- Very low-income potential.
- They ask your phone for registration.
- No signup bonus.
- There are not many survey opportunities available.
- You can waste a lot of time with pre-qualification questions.
- Very limited referral program.
- No PayPal payments.

How Does it Work?
Registration is free, but the sign-up form is extensive. Besides, I don’t like the fact that I had to provide my phone number to gain access.
Here is the proof:
“Accordingly, we may send you direct mailings, or contact you by telephone about our various surveys, and other opportunities we feel may be of interest to you.”
After you log in for the first time, you will have to answer more questions about yourself which will be part of your profile.
This initial profiling questionnaire takes around 5 minutes to complete and contains questions about your job, income, education, etc.
Once you finish that, you will discover there are 10 profile categories in total that you need to complete to increase your chances to get invited. It’s possible that you will spend over half an hour on them, and you won’t get paid.
However, it’s important that you take the time to complete your profile, as it increases your chances of qualifying.
GetPaidToTry Surveys will send you survey invitations via email based on your profile. You can also find new opportunities via the dashboard.
In my case, I didn’t see any survey opportunity on the first day. I know it can be very discouraging to complete a lengthy profile and not get any invitation straight away.
If all the profile questions weren’t enough, there are also pre-screener questions before each survey that will cherry pick the right candidates. And just like in most survey panels, you will get screened out many times!
That means a significant portion of your time will be wasted!
How Much Money Can You Make?
Usually, you will make between $0.50 and $2 per survey. It depends on the survey type and length.
When you include the time you spend on the pre-screening questions and the actual survey, you should note that will be making way less than the minimum wage. Probably between $3 and $4 per hour.
GetPaidToTry Surveys also runs daily ($100), weekly ($250), and monthly ($1000) sweepstakes. However, that is only available for residents of the United States and some Canadian states.
You can also invite other people to join through your affiliate link.
When the person completes the first survey, you will earn £0.30.
To be honest, it’s not a good program because most reward sites pay a percentage of all the referral’s earnings for a lifetime. I take use Prizerebel’s affiliate program, which pays up to 30%.
Another drawback is that you are limited to only 10 referrals. So, the maximum you can earn is just £3.
You must have at least $10 in order to redeem via Amazon e-gift card or Payoneer.
It’s unfortunate that GetPaidToTry Surveys won’t pay user via PayPal. I think that is another negative point.
Conclusion – Is GetPaidToTry Surveys a Scam?
No, I believe the website is legitimate, but I haven’t seen enough people talking positively about it on the internet. Also, I haven’t seen enough income proof from real users.
There are many great survey websites out there, so I would stick with the best ones. Prizerebel is an excellent GPT that I highly recommend.
How I Prefer To Make Money Online
I was an avid survey taker 3 years ago, but I got fed up with earning peanuts and being disqualified all the time.
So, in 2015 I discovered a strategy that would allow me to work for myself online and eventually achieve time and location freedom.
It turns out the strategy worked, and now I am making over $1,000/mo thanks to this great step-by-step program that taught me the right way to build lucrative affiliate sites.
I just focus on writing informative articles/reviews on my website and help people find the best products and services.
What I love about it is the possibility of making passive income while I am traveling. It’s liberating!
You too can achieve amazing results with affiliate marketing! Anyone can with hard work and dedication. If you are willing to put in the work, there is no better place to learn AND build your online business with my #1 recommendation.
