I have recently discovered Empowered Surveys, which is a promising survey panel open only for Australian residents.

After reviewing hundreds of sites, I noticed that the ones that target specific countries are usually more reliable than the ones who have a global audience. However, that’s not always the case!

So, can you really trust Empowered Surveys for making money online? Is it a scam or a legit site?

What is Empowered Surveys?

Empowered Surveys is a survey panel operated by leading marketing research firms in Australia called Trimantium GrowthOps Limited. The panel was formerly named Survey Choice, but it was rebranded in 2018.

If you live in Australia and you are over 16 years old, you can join Empowered Surveys for free and get paid to share your opinions about a wide range of topics.

As a member, you will receive survey invitations in your inbox and earn points that you can redeem for eGift cards.

According to their FAQ, the company follows strict marketing research guidelines that ensure your privacy is respected.

As such, your personal data and opinions will be provided in aggregate format, meaning your responses are totally anonymous.

Is Empowered Surveys Legit?

Yes, absolutely! Empowered Surveys is owned by one of the largest online communities in Australia.

After some research, I found many positive reviews on the internet and everyone seems to get paid with no issues.

So, the panel is reliable and will probably never cause you any trouble regarding points and payments. If there are any issues, I am sure the support team will go the extra mile to help you

How Does Empowered Surveys Work?

Registration

To participate in online surveys, you must create a free account by clicking on the red “Sign up” button.

Next, answer a few profiling questions about your age, location, gender, and other demographics.

To complete your registration with Empowered Surveys, you must confirm your email to activate your account. If you don’t see the email in your primary inbox, it was probably directed to your spam folder.

You will earn 500 points as a signup bonus.

Points and Rewards

Speaking of points, you should know that you can redeem 2,000 points for a $20 Prezzee gift card. All redemption requests are processed in 14 business days.

Once you get your Prezzee gift card, you can swap it for other gift cards from big brands like Uber, Spotify, Playstation Store, Pandora, and more.

Unfortunately, there are neither PayPal nor Amazon gift card payouts.

Complete Your Profile

The first step is to set up your profile so that Empowered Surveys can filter the most studies for you. It won’t take more than 3 minutes to do so.

Also, you can choose the number of surveys you want to receive per day. Leave it as unlimited if you don’t want to miss out on any opportunity.

Take Surveys

Empowered Survey will send you survey invitations via email whenever a study matches your profile. You can also find surveys available on the dashboard.

If there are no surveys on the list, you can click on the banner to check a survey partner.

Depending on your profile, you can expect to get up to 10 survey invitations per day. However, that doesn’t mean you will qualify for all of them.

Since I joined Empowered Surveys, I received daily survey invitations!

Keep in mind that you can only participate in a marketing study after you answer a few qualification questions firsts.

If you don’t qualify, they may direct you to another survey opportunity, and you will earn 10 points.

Most surveys at Empower Surveys last 10 – 25 minutes and pay less than 200 points ($2). So, it’s difficult to earn a decent amount of money as a panelist.

Be aware that survey companies can put you on a blacklist for answering questions in a rush. So take your time to read all the questions carefully in order to provide truthful answers and helpful insights.

Referral Program

Receive 100 points for every successful referral you have and get up to $10 worth of points when you refer a maximum of 10 friends per month.

All you have to do is insert your friend’s email in the space provided, solve the Captcha and click on “refer a friend”.

Can You Complete Surveys From You Mobile Device?

Yes, you can! Empowered Surveys don’t have an app, but you can easily complete most surveys on your phone or tablet via the website.

They will tell you whether the survey is mobile compatible or not before you start.

Is There an Alternative to Empowered Survey?

The best survey panels you can join from Australia are Prolific, Survey Junkie, and PaidViewPoint.

Prolific pays the most for your time and has a strong reputation not only in Australia but also in many other countries like the US, The UK, Canada, and European countries.

Another great option to maximize your online earnings is by joining a GPT site. This excellent reward platform allows you to make money by taking surveys, installing apps, completing offers, watching videos, and more!

What’s best, you can cash out via PayPal as soon as your account reaches $5.

Final Thoughts

Empowered Surveys is an excellent choice for people who want to earn a little extra income just by filling up surveys. You can rest assured this is a safe company that does pay!

What I like about this company is that they don’t seem to screen out participants halfway through the survey.

Unfortunately, lots of companies will ask you lots of questions and then screen you out just so that you don’t get paid. Luckily, that’s not the case with Empowered Surveys!

The main downside of this panel is that it doesn’t process payments via PayPal or Amazon gift cards. I think that’s a bummer!
