I have recently discovered an app that is gaining enormous popularity as it allows users to get paid merely for watching viral videos. It’s called Bermi app!

In this review, I am going to give you my honest opinion about Bermi and tell you whether it’s a scam or legit application.

What is Bermi?

Bermi is a mobile application that rewards users for watching short videos and inviting others to join.

While you are watching, you will be collecting tokens called BERM which are used to buy tickets to play the scratch game.

In turn, the scratch game will award you a random amount of dollars (usually $0.01), redeemable for Etherium cryptocurrency.

Is Bermi a Scam?

If you read user reviews on the Play store, you will see some complaints of people not getting paid.

However, I earned $0.03 and got paid after a few minutes. I was actually impressed with how fast I received the payment.

I believe Bermi is legit, but I recommend cashing out as soon as you reach the minimum balance requirement.

The good news is that you can withdraw as little as $0.02. In case you don’t get paid, you won’t lose much!

You can download Bermi app for free on the Play Store or App Store.

The registration is very straightforward as you can sign up using your email or Facebook account.

Bermi app will ask permission to make and manage phone calls, but they promise this permission will only be used for user security.

As soon as you join, you will get one free scratch-off ticket, that gives you the chance to win up to $100. In my case, I just won $0.01.

Earning BERM Tokens

Watching Videos

You will receive 1 BERM token for every 30 seconds of video you watch.

To collect a token, you must click on the yellow dollar sign at the lower-right corner.

What’s cool about Bermi is that it will predict the videos you may like in the future according to the type of videos you like, share and watch the most.

At the end of each video, you should slide up to start watching another one. Otherwise, the same video will repeat and the countdown to 30 seconds will be locked.

There are also the following bonuses:

Earn 30 BERM each day you log in.
Earn 200 BERM after checking into Bermi 7 days in a row.
Get an extra 5 BERM after watching 2 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours.

Click the yellow countdown clock to claim your 5 BERM bonus.

Unfortunately, you can only earn a maximum of 200 tokens each day, and although you can like and share videos, you won’t get credited for doing that.

Likewise, you won’t earn any tokens for clicking on advertising in between the videos.

New User Rewards

You can earn more BERM by:

Uploading your profile picture: 30 BERM.
Following 7 people: 30 BERM.
Inviting your first friend to join Bermi: 150 BERM.

Referral Program

Share your invite code with your friends and earn 100 BERM per referral plus 30 BERM every time he or she gets 100 BERM.

To share your referral code, tap on the dollar sign and then on “invite Friends to Earn”.

Next, tap on the “share” button and choose your preferred social media platform.

If you want, you can share the code only with your closest friends via WhatsApp.

Play the Scratch Came to Earn Money

When you reach 100 BERMs, you will get a ticket to play the scratch game with a chance to win up to $100.

Most of the times though, you will earn just 1 cent or even less!

If you are trying to make a decent amount of money online, Bermi is definitely not the way to go.

It doesn’t require any effort, but it takes a significant amount of time just to earn approximately 2 cents per day.

How Can You Withdraw?

As I mentioned earlier, you can withdraw a minimum of $0.02 worth of Etherium.

You should have an Etherium wallet to receive the payment. If you don’t have one, you can search online for your prefered ETH wallet (there are many) or download their recommended one called Secrypto.

To cash out, open your profile, tap on “wallet” and then “Cash out”.

Open your ETH wallet and copy the receiving address.

Go back to Bermi app, select the cash amount, provide your wallet address and wait for the payment.

According to the FAQ, it can take 3 to 5 business days to be credited. In my first attempt to cash out, I received the payment almost instantly.

Final Thoughts

Bermi is a legitimate app that you can use to earn pocket money while watching funny and interesting videos.

Unfortunately, the pay rate is extremely low compared to other strategies to make money online (check my favourite one below).

Nevertheless, I think this is one of the best apps to get paid for watching videos.

Other options that people use to get paid for watching videos are Prizerebel, Paid2Youtube, Swagbucks, Viggle, and Perk.tv.
