Welcome to my ScanGo review!
Today, we will explore another app that claims to give free Robux and other game currencies just by scanning QR codes.
With an offer to earn hundreds of dollars worth of codes, it’s no surprise that over 100k people have taken the plunge.
But before you jump on the bandwagon, taking a deep breath and gathering more information is essential.
The reason is that the Play Store is jam-packed with deceitful applications trying to steal your most precious commodity: time!
In this review, we’ll address key questions: Is ScanGo a legitimate app or another fake? Will users actually receive the game currency they’ve advertised?
Let’s find out!
It’s time for real rewards. Start earning your $10 Robux cards at Prizerebel today, a platform that values and rewards your online activities.
- Name: ScanGo – Scan QR to Win
- Developer: sunflower studios
- Availability: Worldwide
- Payout threshold: 10,000 coins

What is ScanGo?
ScanGo is a free Android app that claims to help users win game currency by scanning QR codes.
Open the app, click scan, and point your smartphone camera at QR codes to collect coins.
Once you’ve amassed 10,000 coins, you can exchange them for in-game currency for popular games like Roblox, Free Fire, and Brawl Stars.
In addition to scanning QR codes, users can earn extra coins by opening the game section within the app and activating commercials.
The app is heavily loaded with adverts, which is this app’s only source of income.
Even though ScanGo has been installed over 100,000 times, there are no reviews on the Play Store, as it is still in Early Access.
This is a major red flag!
I’ve analyzed several apps that try to deceive their audience with a similar proposal. Here is the most recent one!
Not to mention the countless fake money games with the scanning theme!
How Does ScanGo Work?
ScanGo is available on the Play Store and accessible to users across all countries.
This reward platform is going viral! Cash out via PayPal, Visa, Gift Cards, and in-game currencies - Click here to find out how to generate an extra $10+ per day!
However, before diving into how ScanGo works, it’s important to note that user data is not encrypted and cannot be deleted.
This raises serious concerns about the security of your data and privacy rights when using the app.
Once you’ve launched ScanGo, it says you must collect enough coins to redeem for your favorite game currency.
You’ll receive 2,000 coins just for being a “lucky user.”
To collect more coins, press the scan button, point your camera at any QR code, and voilà!
You’ll receive a coin reward, with the option to double it by watching a video.
Interestingly, you don’t even need to scan products to collect coins. Instead, you can enter the game section and tap the round progress bar when complete.
This will activate a commercial, and once it’s finished, you’ll collect more coins.
The app’s focus on maximizing your time watching advertisements becomes apparent as the developer profits from your views.
Your coin balance will grow as you scan QR codes and watch adverts.
How to Redeem Your Game Currency
Once you’ve collected 10,000 coins, you can exchange them for in-game currency in popular games like Roblox, Free Fire, and Brawl Stars.
Just follow these steps to redeem:
- Tap the “Redeem” button right at the top.
- Select your favorite game from the list of supported games.
- Enter your account ID associated with your game.
For example, if you’ve chosen Roblox, ScanGo promises to transfer 10,000 Robux to your account.
Is ScanGo Legit? Does it Reward Users?
Not, it doesn’t! ScanGo doesn’t transfer any game currency; the reward is merely a mirage.
The developer employs the well-known bait-and-switch tactic to lure users into spending time collecting coins.
At first, accumulating coins may seem relatively easy, but the rewards begin to dwindle as you approach the 10,000-coin target.
You’ll start receiving fewer and fewer coins for each QR code scanned, or video watched, making it a painful process to reach the target.
But that’s only the tip of the iceberg!
Once you’ve finally collected 10,000 coins, the app suddenly changes the deal.
Instead of allowing you to complete the redemption process, ScanGo now requires you to watch an extra 20 videos to activate the order.
After you’ve endured the other 20 videos, the app displays a message saying, “activation successful.”
You might think your persistence has finally paid off, but think twice!
Now, ScanGo insists that you watch another 15 videos to ensure an immediate transfer of the game currency.
However, even after meeting this new requirement, they will devise another excuse for not delivering the rewards.
It says over 9,000 users are waiting for currency distribution, and you’re encouraged to wait patiently as your rank in the queue will be refreshed.
What a joke this is!
I highly recommend you uninstall ScanGo because it doesn’t reward users.
Besides, there is a risk that your data is exposed to the dark web since it’s not encrypted.
This can threaten your identity and make you vulnerable to fraudulent activities.
Don’t be fooled by promises of free money or game currencies worth a fortune – they simply don’t exist.
If you are a gamer who cannot afford upgrades, skins, etc., the easiest option is to earn money by completing simple tasks online.
