freecash advert

Welcome to my MojiLife review!

You are probably wondering if you can really earn a side income as a MojiLife associate.

As importantly, you want to know the quality of the products, so you don’t feel guilty for promoting low-quality stuff.

The problem is, the official website doesn’t give you enough details about the company nor the opportunity to become a distributor.

Due to lack of transparency, you may suspect that MojiLife is a pyramid-scheme or another type of scam.

In this MojiLife review, you will find all the information you need to decide whether you should join or avoid this company.

You will also discover what other people think about the company and its products.

What is MojiLife?

MojiLife is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company based in Lindon, Utah.

The company specialises in the home fragrance industry, selling a wide range of products such as the AirMoji, fragrance pods, essential oils, and more!

MojiLife’s flagship and most popular products are the AirMoji and MojiMini.

These electronic devices automatically disperse fragrance in the air according to your schedule preferences set in the MojiLife App.

In short, AirMoji provides fragrance on demand!

As an MLM, you can become a direct sales distributor and recruiter by purchasing one of the company’s kits. More on that later.

The Company

Unfortunately, MojiLife doesn’t provide an “about us” page where we can learn about the company’s history and founders.

However, you can find more about the company and its products on Youtube and Google.

After some research, I found this PDF which says Darin Davis is the president and CEO of MojiLife.

For some reason, this pdf is available on Google, but there is no direct link to it via the official website.

A quick look at the BBB (Better Business Bureau) led me to discover that the owner is actually Darrell Jakin.

MojiLife was founded in 2016 and operated in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany.

In this video I found on youtube, Darin shares the story of a severe fire that broke out in his building in 2013.

After the fire, Darin and his team started brainstorming ideas for a new revolutionary product.

That’s when AirMoji came to light!

The incident helped them identify an excellent business opportunity while, at the same time, helping prevent fires.

Indeed, the concept was great since AirMoji disperses fragrance without using a flame or light bulbs that could potentially trigger a house fire.

Since then, MojiLife has continuously improved its products and launched new ones, such as the versatile M3.

MojiLife Products

MojiLife’slignup is quite extensive. They have many products divided into the following categories:

  • AirMoji
  • Fragrance pods.
  • Essential oils.
  • Glass & Surface, Shower, and baby product cleaners.
  • Bath bombs.
  • Toilet and room sprays.
  • And more!

As I already mentioned, the company’s flagship product is the AirMoji, advertised as the future of fragrance.

AirMoji is extremely safe as it doesn’t use flame, heat, water, wax, or toxic chemicals.

There are over 50 different fragrances you can choose from.

Each fragrance pod contains 15 ml of 100% Essential Oil imported from Europe, the United States, and other countries.

AirMoji is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery lasting about 40 – 50 hours of continuous usage.

What sets this diffuser apart from the competitors is the possibility of controlling fragrances through a smartphone via the MojiLife app.

This app allows you to set the fragrance schedule for the entire week, turning AirMoji on and off at predefined times.

How Can You Make Money With MojiLife?

MojiLife operates as a multi-level marketing (MLM) business.

Therefore, you can make money by selling their products and recruiting other people.

Becoming a MojiLife Associate

First, you need to become a MojiLife associate by finding a sponsor and purchasing one of the three available distributor kits.

Here is the current price list for USA residents:

  • Basic Distributor – $88 + shipping + tax.
  • Plus Distributor – $175 + shipping + tax.
  • Elite Distributor – $295 + shipping + tax.

Your sponsor will help you start your business and guide you whenever you need it.

If you don’t personally know any MojiLife distributor to be assigned as your sponsor, you select a state and choose a random person from the list.

Next, you should fill up the form with your details and choose a name for your personalized website.

After you purchase the Mojilife kit and the company confirms your registration, you will get an online store with your unique ID.

So, you will earn a commission whenever someone places an order through your site.

After registration, you will need a solid business plan to start making sales and recruiting other people.

Therefore, you should be familiar with Mojilife’s compensation plan and the strategies to get new prospects.

MojiLife Compensation Plan

As an active MojiLife rep, you will start earning 20% commissions on all your products.

The value of all your products is called PRV (Personal Retail Volume).

Later, when you reach a lifetime PRV of 850, you will get a 5% increase in commissions.

Like any other MLM company, you can make more money by recruiting other people and building a team.

When you directly sponsor someone to join MojiLife, you will become a consultant ( mojiconsultant).

As a result, you will earn an additional 3% commission on the Personal Wholesale Volume (PWV) of all the Moji Associates under your downline.

The PWV is the combined wholesale value of all the products that your team has sold.

There are more incentives and bonuses for higher rankings in the organization.

Keep in mind that as your rankings go up, so do the minimum requirements to continue on that level.

To learn more about MojiLife’s higher rankings, you can watch the video below, which explains the entire compensation plan.

Important Considerations Before You Join MojiLife

After learning about the compensation plan and everything you can accomplish as a MojiLife associate, you may feel excited to start your business immediately.

Indeed, it can be a life-changing opportunity if you do it right.

After all, you can quit your job and work whenever you want!

However, there are essential considerations you need to think about before joining MojiLife.

#1 – Competing Products

Although MojiLife is the only MLM company that operates in this specific niche, many similar products are already on the market.

Search for essential oil diffusers on Amazon, and you will find excellent and cheaper alternatives.

Not only can you find cheaper alternatives, but many diffusers get more than 4.5-star ratings.

I am not saying these products are better.

But…

The fact that you will be selling a more expensive product may be a disadvantage you will need to overcome as a seller.

You should be able to justify the higher prices by focusing on the key selling points.

For example, the possibility of controlling fragrance through the app is something that not many competitors provide.

I just found one competitor device offering this feature for $200. So, in that case, AirMoji is the winner!

#2 – Personal and Sales Skills Required

Let’s face the truth.

If you want to succeed in any MLM opportunity, you must have excellent personal and sales skills such as communication, leadership, persuasion, and resilience.

You will constantly be trying to convince people to buy and join MojiLife through in-home parties or social media.

TIP: Click here to discover how people make a full-time income online without selling or recruiting!

#3 – Challenging Monthly Targets

As soon as you become a MojiLife associate, you must reach at least 50 PRV a month to maintain your active status and be eligible for commissions.

Otherwise, you will probably have to buy another kit to regain your active status.

The higher your rankings in the organization, the higher your monthly quota.

For example, as a consultant, you should maintain at least one active frontline distributor, 300 PRV and 1000 GWV a month.

These targets can put you under significant pressure because you can’t earn commissions if you lose your status.

This can be a significant challenge, especially for beginners.

#4 – Lack of Transparency

MojiLife’s website is missing lots of essential information, which can only confuse the person.

Therefore, you have to search on Google and Youtube to learn more.

There is no “about us” page where we can learn about the company, its history, and its founders.

The site doesn’t provide a compensation plan so people can understand the rules and what they can achieve as an associate before placing the order.

I found the Policies and Procedures PDF on Google, which should be promptly available through the official website. But it isn’t!

Also, there is no FAQ, no terms and conditions, and no income disclosure.

I think the absence of such vital pages is very problematic for the business as a whole.

People should be well informed before investing time and money into any business opportunity.

#5 – Negative Reviews

Listening to other people’s opinions about MojiLife can be eye-opening.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any review from someone who is no longer an associate.

All of the reviews are from current MojiLife associates who promote the product. Naturally, they will focus on the positive aspects of recruiting you.

We shouldn’t blame them because that’s their job.

What about the actual products? What do people say about them?

Looking at a review website called Appgroves, I noted many people like the fragrance device, but the app seems to have many issues!

Here are some common complaints that I found:

  • Airmoji only works with Bluetooth, so you can only program the fragrance diffuser when you are close to it.
  • It disconnects from Bluetooth very frequently.
  • It won’t save the timers.
  • The app can’t turn the device ON, only OFF.

#6 – Most People Fail!

When it comes to MLM and even internet marketing, the reality is that most people struggle to make money.

According to a report from the FTC, which studied 350 MLMs, over 99% of participants lose money.

Only a tiny percentage earn a full-time income.

That is because they can attract and recruit lots of people!

Typically, most people fail while trying to run any business.

However, succeeding as an MLM distributor is significantly more complicated than most other businesses!

Next, I will show you all the reasons why distributors struggle to make a decent income with MojiLife.

TOP 3 Reasons Why MojiLife Distributors May Fail

#1 – No Source of Leads

Your sponsor will probably advise you to lend AirMojis to your friends and family so they can try them.

You could also run parties and share your online store on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

However, all of these strategies are usually ineffective and very time-consuming.

Many people are skeptical of multi-level marketing and even scared of joining potentially fraudulent schemes.

Sure, you can make a few sales within your social circle, but not enough to make a consistent income.

What should you do after promoting MojiLife’s products to all of your friends and family?

The truth is, many people get stuck at this point and give up!

#2 – Weak Skills

I already touched on this particular consideration earlier, but it’s important to reiterate.

Direct selling and recruiting require a high level of sales and interpersonal skills.

I believe that everyone can acquire these skills and become great at selling.

However, there is a learning curve, and it takes time!

#3 – Wrong Mindset

Many MLM representatives create this false expectation of fast and easy results to recruit as many people as possible.

That’s a wrong mindset that causes unnecessary frustration.

When you join any business opportunity like MojiLife, be prepared to work hard and give it enough time to grow.

If you are not making enough sales and still depend on a job to pay the bills, hold on for a while.

Work in your free time and don’t quit your job and start making a good income.

It may take you longer than others, but at least you won’t put your livelihood at risk.

Is MojiLife a Scam? Is it a Pyramid Scheme?

The FTC, which is the agency that protects consumers against unfair and deceptive business practices, has provided helpful guidance regarding MLMs.

However, distinguishing between a legal MLM and a Pyramid Scheme can be nuanced and challenging.

An unlawful MLM structure exists when compensation is paid based on the participant’s purchases rather than on actual sales to real customers.

The key to known whether MojiLife is a pyramid scheme is to find out if the compensation plan encourages associates to buy products to advance in the program.

If participants are buying products to satisfy their own personal demands, then it’s unlikely that the company is operating illegally.

In my opinion, MojiLife is not a pyramid scheme, but only the FTC can give the final word after careful investigation.

Conclusion

MojiLife has an impressive product line, but the fragrance diffuser is not extraordinary.

There are much cheaper and high-quality alternatives in the marketplace.

The fact that people can control AirMoji through the app is a differential.

However, many customers are unhappy with the MojiLife app and regret buying AirMoji.

The number of complaints has kept piling up since 2016, so those issues need fixing asap!

Regarding the website it lacks transparency for both consumers and prospective associates.

There is no income disclosure to give people real insights into the business opportunity.

It’s important to understand that making money with MojiLife or any other MLM can be very challenging.

Most commissions are paid to those at the top of the pyramid, and 99% of people lose money.

That doesn’t mean Mojilife is a scam, but all of these things are important to consider before you invest your time and money.

My #1 Strategy to Make Money Online

In my opinion, there is a much better business model for those who don’t like direct selling or recruiting.

Also, with this model, you don’t need to buy any product to participate.

It’s called affiliate marketing!

By building a website and using the right strategies, you can attract a massive audience by leveraging Google search results.

Once you have the audience, you will make money whenever someone clicks on your affiliate links and buys the product via the merchant’s website.

You don’t need to sell anything to them directly.

All you have to do is provide helpful content and direct people to related products in your niche.

After following this training, many people, including me, were able to quit their jobs and work from home.
