What is iZatso?

iZatso is a survey panel owned and operated by Direction First Pty Ltd, a marketing research agency based in Australia.

As a member, you will earn cash rewards for participating in marketing research studies and sharing your opinions with big brands.

You may not only be invited to answer online surveys but also…

Participate in focus groups (group discussions).
Test products delivered to your home for FREE.
Attend taste testing.

After completing an online survey or in-home test, you will earn points that you can use to redeem for eGift cards from major retailers.

As for in-person studies, you will receive your reward at the end of each session.

IZatso is only available for residents in Australia. If that’s not you, I suggest checking out Prizerebel as it works worldwide and will send you lots of surveys from different providers.

Is iZatso a Scam?

No, it isn’t.

IZatso is operated by a reputable company that is a member of both AMSRO (Association of Market and Social Research Organisations) and AMSRS (Australian Market and Social Research Society).

So, if you provide honest answers and don’t break any rules, you can expect to receive your payment without any issues.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Most surveys are short and pay relatively well compared to other panels.
Participate not only in online surveys but also Focus Groups, product testing and taste testing.
Complete surveys from your mobile.

Cons

There are not many surveys.
There no app available yet.
It doesn’t process payments via PayPal.

How Does iZatso Work?

Registration

Joining iZatso is 100% free!

If you want to become a member, the first step is to sign up with your name and email address.

Next, check your email and click on the link provided to confirm your registration.

Complete Your Profile

After creating your account, you should complete your profile by answering a few questions about yourself.

iZatso will ask about your age, gender, education, job, household income, pets, etc.

Completing your profile is extremely important as you can only be invited for specific studies if you are the right candidate.

For example, the client may be a pet shop company that would like the opinions of cat owners.

In that case, you can only be invited for the survey if you own a cat.

Points Vs Rewards

As I already mentioned, when you complete an online survey or in-home product test, you will accumulate points.

Once you accumulate 3000, you can exchange for $30 via Prepaid Mastercard, eGift cards for popular stores such as Woolworths, Myer, Coles, and more.

It’s also possible to redeem your points via Eftpos card, which is accepted by different retailers.

Unfortunately, iZatson doesn’t process payments via PayPal.

iZatso Surveys

Most opportunities available on this panel is in the form of online surveys that you can complete from home.

After completing your profile, iZatso will start sending you survey invitations via email.

So, always check your inbox folder for new opportunities and try to complete the survey as soon as possible.

Be aware that you must qualify after answering a few questions. Survey disqualifications are frequent, so expect to waste a lot of time in the process.

Usually, a survey is open for 2 – 3 days, depending on how many panellists apply for it.

Most online surveys take less than 10 minutes, but in some cases, they can last up to 20 minutes.

If you are invited to participate in group discussions or tasting sessions, you will have to attend central locations determined by the company.

These sessions can last from 10 to 90 minutes, depending on the study.

On the FAQ section of the website, iZatso provides Tips and advice on what to expect from these sessions.

I highly recommend reading that information once you receive an invitation.

How Much Money Can You Make?

Just like other survey panels, iZatso will give you a small compensation for taking part in online surveys.

The pay rate depends on the survey length, but on average, can expect to earn $1.

The payout for group discussions and taste sessions is much higher because companies can get more valuable insights when you are present.

iZatson doesn’t tell members how much they can earn for in-person studies, but many other panels pay in the range of $20 – $100.

Conclusion

iZatso is a legitimate survey panel where you can take surveys, participate in group discussion, product testing and other studies.

Yes, it does pay for your time and effort!

The site has a good reputation on the internet, but many people complain about the lack of surveys.

As expected, the pay rate for completing online surveys is low, but the good news is that most studies take less than 10 minutes.

Product testing and in-person studies pay way more, but getting an invitation for those can take “ages”. Besides, you may not qualify!

Verdict: Legit

How To Earn A Full-Time Income Online

Earning a few bucks here and there with surveys can help if you are strapped for money.

However, you will waste a lot of time with disqualifications.

The reality is that you will be making less than half of the minimum wage in Australia, which is very discouraging in the long term.

If you have more than 2 hours of free time per day, you could be making 10 or even 50 times more with affiliate marketing!
