What is Domainer Elite?
Domainer Elite is an automated software that supposedly helps you find premium domain names from a list of 100 hot keywords.
If you are new to internet marketing and don’t know what I am talking about, let me clarify. A domain name is simply a website address that has different extensions like .com, .net, .co and many others.
My domain name is myroomismyoffice.com, and I bought it for $10/year from a registrar called Namecheap. Why did I pay so cheap? Simply because nobody wants it. Prices are always affected by supply and demand.
A Premium Domain Rocks!
Premium domains are extremely valuable because they’re so sought after. Here is why: They are usually single or double worded, very popular and over 15 years old. They also receive huge traffic (website visitors) without any marketing efforts.
If I wanted to buy love.com, I would probably have to pay more than $1 million! This is an extreme example just to show you that some domains are more expensive than others.
Yes, it’s possible to buy cheap domains now and eventually sell it for high a price in the future. It happens! However, finding premium domains is harder than finding gold in your backyard. Yet, the owner tries to convince you that you will be able to find domains for $9 and sell it for $1000.
How Does it Work?
The software layout is quite old-fashioned. This is what it looks like and how it works:
- Search for topics and keyword variations and the software is going to list different options based on your input. It’s important to understand that this is just a random selection.
- Search for the domain on Godaddy.com. To be honest, this is useless because you can simply open a new browser tab and visit the website by yourself.
- This is just a list of sites where you can sell your domain.
Can It Find a Profitable Domain Name?
Yes, it can. But in my opinion, it’s based mostly on luck. There is no guarantee that it will always suggest a premium domain or at least a profitable one.

Conclusion
In my opinion, Domainer Elite gives you unrealistic expectations of finding profitable domain names. Not only that, it makes you think you can build a sustainable business just by buying and selling domains.
You are better off guessing which ones have the potential to sell for a high price in the future. However, I don’t recommend you do that, as you may end up with a significant portfolio that doesn’t sell. It’s a big risk.
Verdict: Not Recommended
A Safe Strategy to Make Money Online
Instead of counting on luck, I highly recommend you purchase any domain name and build an online business with it.
In time, you will be able to attract a huge audience and increase the value of your site. But probably you won’t be interested in selling it, as it will be generating a steady income month after month.

I’ve never heard of Domainer Elite before this but I’m so glad I read this. I would honestly think it’s useless in every possible way. As you mention, we can just open up a new tab to look for domain names on godaddy. What is the point of Domainer Elite if one can perform something that doesn’t require Domainer Elite? I’m also glad that you’ve listed his sales on Flippa. If I didn’t read this and find out about all this, I would probably be cheated out of my hard earned money for nothing! Thanks. Domainer Elite looks promising by looking at the sales pitch, but the reality is harsh. The time you waste trying to find a potential profitable domain can be used wisely to grow traffic to any website and make money with affiliate marketing, for example. So I wouldn’t say this kind of business will give you steady income. Plus, the risk os losing money is high.
Buy and selling of domain, I see it more like gambling. I remember early in my days online I was able to pack some domain names which was in relation to some companies names.
When this Companies were ready to have a website, the just got a different variation different from what I reserved.
Lossing money and wasting time. I have also researched on how domains resell . If you want to go into domain resell buy any name and build it up.When is yeilding revenue you can then sell it for the fee you want.

Hi Queen, that’s true. Also, I think a lot of companies will get a brand name after they search for the availability of a domain name. If it’s already owned, they can simply chose another one and save money.In my opinion, it’s crazy to buy a bunch of domains and expect them to increase in valuable out of nowhere. So, you are right, it’s wiser to create content for the website, build up traffic and then sell it if you want.

When I bought domain names through NameCheap, they seemed to have an internal software that automatically marked up valuable domain names.

Hi Gary, fore sure. It’s easy to get lost trying to make money online because every product or platform is sold as the ultimate solution. Trying to make a business only through buying and selling domains is not sustainable. It will eventually lead to frustration because it’s really hard to find these golden domains.
