- Minimum payout: 20,000 points ($2)
- Overall Rating: 1/5
What is Typing Work?
Typing work is a free mobile app that claims you can earn money simply by typing on your phone.
In the beginning, I thought this was all about solving Captchas just like in Captcha Club and ProTypers.
This reward platform is going viral! Cash out via PayPal, Visa, Gift Cards, and in-game currencies - Click here to find out how to generate an extra $10+ per day!
However, after completing the first slot, I didn’t feel like I was providing a service to solve Captcha.
First of all, the company doesn’t explain why they are willing to pay you just for typing a few works. That’s enough reason to suspect something is wrong.
Before you start working, the minimum you should know is why the company is paying you to type such useless words. Then, if they are not giving you the answer, ask yourself why they would omit such crucial information.
Before I explain what I think is going on behind this app, let me show you how it works.
How Does The Typing Work App Work?
Installation and registration
The Typing Work app is only available on Android devices, and you can download the app on Google Play.
I inserted another chip on my phone as I don’t want to risk anyone bothering me with marketing calls.
Next, you must log in using your Google account. The company promises to secure your data.
On the dashboard, you will see 4 slots with 5 typing jobs each. All you have to do is write the same sentence on the space provided and click “Submit typing.”
The job could easily be accomplished by a 5-year-old kid or a computer program.
But for some reason, they are trying to make you believe you are getting paid to do this ridiculous job.
You will earn 5 points for each sentence you type, and you need to accumulate 20,000 points to redeem for 2.00 USD via PayPal or Paytm.
Every hour, you will get 5 typing jobs to get more points.
What is Actually Behind the Scenes?
Every time you tap “submit typing,” the app will show you a sponsored video, which is promoting another money-making application.
When you open the app for the first time, they explain you are watching clips to keep the Typing Work app completely free.
They also claim that by seeing Ads, you can earn points without risking or paying any subscription fees.
Now, if they are providing data entry services to another company or individual, they why would you, as a worker, have to watch sponsored clips to support the app? Wouldn’t their clients pay your fees?
Well, the excessive amount of advertising combined with the lack of transparency only tells me one thing:
You are getting points for watching sponsored videos, not for typing anything!
The only clients behind the Typing Work app are advertisers who are enticing you to install their over-hyped apps.
The app doesn’t explain why you are typing because they want to attract a specific audience that wants to get paid for data entry jobs.
However, you will spend more time watching videos than typing.
Is The Typing Work App Legit? Will You Get Paid?
In the eyes of the law, I don’t think the Typing Work would be considered a scam. However, it makes users think they are getting paid to work as a typist, which is not the case.
I am confident that the Typing Work app is entirely funded by advertisers, not by clients who need your data entry service.
So, will you get paid?
After reading lots of reviews on Google Play, I was shocked by the number of users who didn’t get paid. Lots of people send emails to the company but don’t get any response.
It takes a very long time to reach 20,000 since they want you to watch a ton of videos before you cash out.
Don’t fall for it, or you will probably waste a significant amount of time!

Pros And Cons
- You probably won’t get paid.
- The company is not transparent.
- Points have a very low value.
- It’s all about watching sponsored videos, not data entry.
- You will be forced to watch videos after typing each sentence.
- The app collects your mobile number.
The Typing Work app is not a middle man between typists and clients who pay for data entry services.
Therefore, the “job” is all about watching videos to help the developer make profits.
The company requires that you reach 20,000 points before you can cash out only a measly $2.
As a result, you will have to watch hundreds of videos for months on end before you request your payment.
What’s worse, you may not get paid after putting so much time into this app.
If you value your time and you don’t want to get frustrated, avoid the Typing Work app at all costs.
Verdict: Not Recommended
