What is The Panel Station
The Panel Station is a survey panel operated by Borderless Access, a market research solutions provider with over 3 million panelists in 31 countries.
This website allows you to participate in online surveys and share your opinions on consumer goods, healthcare, technology, travel, and finance. You can do it both on your computer or on your smartphone using their App.
After you complete a survey, The Panel Station will reward you with points that can be redeemable for cash (PayPal) or gift cards.
Pros and Cons
- Free to join.
- Earn 20 points for survey disqualifications.
- You can get paid via Paypal and gift cards.
- Available worldwide.
- You can answer surveys on the go with the App.
- Low-income potential.
- Confusing signup process.
- No signup bonus.
- They don’t say how much a point is worth in real currency.
- Very few surveys available.
- Daily polls are unpaid.
I found the registration for The Panel Survey a bit tricky. That is because they didn’t give me the option to choose a password, and also didn’t tell me they would send me another email with my registration details.
Therefore, I decided to click on “Forgot Password,” and request a password, only to realize I had already received the details in another email after my confirmation.
Different from many survey sites, I didn’t get any sign-up bonus. However, you can start earning your first 300 points by answering a short profiler survey.
The Panel Station will send you new survey invitations by email as soon as they become available.
So, it’s important to check your email regularly to guarantee your spot as each study has a limited quota.
Each survey takes around 10-20 min to complete, but keep in mind you will also have to answer pre-qualifying questions.
That means you will get screened out many times and waste time.
Thus, online surveys can be very frustrating sometimes, but at least Panel Station will give you 20 points even if you don’t qualify.
How much money can you make?
The website claims you can expect to earn from 500 to 5000 points, depending on the length and complexity of the survey. They also say the average survey takes 12-15 minutes to complete.
But how much money are these points worth?
Well, the FAQ says 500 – 5000 points is equivalent to Rs 50-500 ( Indian Rupees), which is approximately $0.77 -$7.75. Honestly, guys. I have never seen any company paying more than $2 for a simple multiple-choice survey.
I have reviewed man panels on my blog, and I reckon that most people make between $2 and $3 per hour with online surveys.
How many surveys will you get?
It depends on how often your profile matches the surveys available. Typically, though, The Panel Station won’t send you more than two surveys per week, which is discouraging!
Complaints About The Panel Station
There are mixed feeling about The Panel Station on the internet. Many people say the site is excellent and pay all the time.
However, I have seen many people complaining that at some point during the survey, they get an error message saying they rushed through the survey.
So, try not to rush to avoid this problem.
Another thing people complain about is the low payment. This woman said she answered lots of surveys and redeemed her 3000 points for just $US5.50.
You need at least 3000 points in your account to start redeeming via Paypal or Gift vouchers from popular stores such as Amazon, Rakuten, Jumia, Submarino, Linio, Flipkart, and more.
The Panel Station is a legit website, but I don’t like the fact that they don’t specify the exact amount of money you will earn for each survey. The point system kind of hides the actual value of your time there.
Also, not only the pay is too low, but the number of surveys is very limited in all countries.
Personally, I don’t think it’s worth taking surveys for just a few cents, but only you can decide what you should do with your time.
If you want to stick with easy tasks and don’t care about making just a couple of dollars here and there, a better option is Prizerebel. It’s a GPT site that will give you much more opportunities to make money.
My #1 Strategy to Make Money Online
I used to take surveys in the past, but then I discovered a much more effective method to make money online.
Life is short, so I decided to leave my comfort zone and do something that could potentially make a significant impact in the future.
Instead of making $3/hour taking easy surveys, I decided to work harder for myself, and now I grow an online business that generates me over $1000 per month in passive income.
This means my site is earning me commissions around the clock while I spend my time growing my business or travelling around the World.
The income potential is enormous, and I am very close to quitting my day job to work 100% online.
You can learn more about the method that I use by checking out my #1 recommendation review. It’s an excellent affiliate marketing training and community for people who want to become online entrepreneurs and live the laptop lifestyle.
