Welcome to my Step Counter app review!
Today, we’re exploring Step Counter, a pedometer app that is probably already running on your Android phone. Now, this isn’t your ordinary step-tracking application.
It claims to do something incredible: turn your steps into cash. And we’re not just talking about small change here, no sir.
The developers have gone on a limb and proposed the extraordinary – the potential to earn hundreds of dollars. Yes, you heard that right, ‘hundreds.’
Their advertisement showed people walking around while their PayPal balance just kept growing.
And it claims you will accumulate steps even when riding a train or driving. The rules are simple – if you’re moving, you’re earning!
I’ve reviewed many step-counting apps before, and many of them made big promises they couldn’t keep.
Most just tried to hook us in with the idea of winning cash, only to flood us with advertisements.
So naturally, when an app like Step Counter steps into the spotlight, it raises a few eyebrows and numerous questions.
Is it legit or fake? Does it pay or not? Let’s find out!
Ready to trade in your 9-5 for a laptop lifestyle? This excellent step-by-step program helped me generate $2,000+ per month and can help you do the same. Click here to find out!

What is Step Counter?
Step Counter is another pedometer app available on Android that adds a monetary twist to your fitness journey.
Like any good step counter, it dutifully tracks your movements, helping you reach your fitness goals one stride at a time.
It records your distance covered, the time taken, calories burned, and the number of steps walked.
But here’s where Step Counter shakes things up.
While helping you burn calories, it also enables you to earn coins – a virtual currency you rack up with every step you take.
But that’s not all. The app also includes daily tasks that, when completed, offer you bonus coins. Consider it a nudge to push your fitness goals further while boosting your virtual wallet.
And yes, like many other apps, there are mini-games to play and commercials to watch.
The best part? You can supposedly exchange coins for cash rewards via PayPal, Cash App, and gift cards.
How Does Step Counter Work?
This reward platform is going viral! Cash out via PayPal, Visa, Gift Cards, and in-game currencies - Click here to find out how to generate an extra $10+ per day!
You can find the Step Counter app on the Play Store and get it on your Android device with no fuss.
It doesn’t ask for registration, which is odd for a reward application.
The moment you open the app, it’s straight to business.
You enter your gender, step goal, height, and weight so it can accurately count your steps and other fitness metrics.
Now, I’ve got to be honest. In its data safety section, this app claims that it doesn’t collect data, but that seems sketchy to me.
I mean, isn’t it collecting data when we input all this personal info? Plus, if they’re going to pay us, don’t they need our payment account details too?
I noticed that Step Counter doesn’t encrypt data and that our data can’t be deleted.
Now, that’s a big deal in today’s world of data privacy regulations. You need to be aware of where our information is going, right?
After all that, the app asks us to pick a payment method and informs us we must collect 1 million coins to cash out $50.
They offer higher rewards too, but that means collecting even more coins. It’s like a step mountain that we need to climb!
Next, the app’s dashboard pops up, and it starts tracking your every move
It displays your step count at the top of the screen and keeps tabs on our progress.
Earning Coins
Every 50 steps, we earn 1000 coins. But there’s a catch – you must tap the ‘Get Coins’ button to collect them.
A ‘Collect x2’ button doubles our reward, but you must watch an advert to get it. Clever marketers!
There are more ways to earn coins too. You can tap the coin bubbles that appear, sign in daily, and complete tasks by clicking the coin icon.
Each of these actions leads us to more commercials and more coins.
It’s clear what’s going on here. The app’s developers want us to watch sponsored videos. Lots of them!
And we do it because we want those coins, right? For every video we watch, our coin count goes up, and the developers’ revenue does too.
Will they share all their earnings with users who collect at least 1 million coins? That’s what you will find out in the next section.
Is Step Counter Legit? Does it Pay?
Nope! Step Counter doesn’t pay a dime!
It’s dancing to the same tune as countless fake cash apps on the Play Store.
If you’re intrigued, check out my review of a similar app called NiceWalk, which tells the same tale.
The step counting feature in Step Counter? Well, it’s nothing more than a smokescreen to hide the fact that the developer’s primary goal is to bombard you with adverts.
Heck, you don’t even need to break a sweat to reach your 1 million coin target.
You only need to head to the game section and activate a relentless barrage of commercials.
Now, the initial journey to 900,000 coins is quite the breeze. But once you hit this mark, your coin rewards dwindle significantly.
This sneaky tactic is designed to make you watch even more videos, filling the developer’s coffers.
But even with this slowing down, reaching the million-coin target doesn’t take too long.
Here’s where things get really fishy. Just when you think you’re about to cash out, the app pulls a classic bait and switch.
You hit the target, enter your email to cash out, and suddenly, surprise! There’s a new requirement.
You need to take 2000 steps in a day or walk for two days to activate your cash-out order.
And don’t think for a second that this is the last hurdle. They’ll keep throwing more requirements at you, making you jump through hoops and watch more get-rich-quick adverts.
But the sad reality? You won’t get paid. The only one profiting here is the developer, capitalizing on your precious time.
Conclusion
Step Counter is another pedometer app enticing users with fake cash rewards! It certainly doesn’t pay a dime!
Beware of such apps, folks. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “If Step Counter isn’t the way, then what is?”
I’m glad you’re asking because a far more promising path is awaiting you.
A path where you can live the laptop lifestyle, work from anywhere, and enjoy the freedom you’ve always dreamed of.
I am talking about building an online business that allows you to make money on your own terms.
But of course, things won’t happen overnights, and you must put in the work.
Have you heard the saying, “Everything worth having comes with time and effort?”
It’s as true in this journey as in any other aspect of life. You’ve got to invest the time and energy to reap the rewards.
Like many successful marketers, I was a complete newbie when I found this fantastic step-by-step program.
They walked me through every stage, helping me set up a WordPress website and teaching me how to attract a massive audience.
This strategy has stood the test of time since I have been earning a consistent income since 2016!
