What is Current Cash Rewards?

Current Cash Rewards is an innovative mobile application operated by Current Media LLC.

It allows you to earn rewards mainly for streaming music on your Android or iOS device.

You can also get rewarded for watching videos, completing offers and using the Current app lockscreen.

The cool thing about Current Cash Rewards is that you can play unlimited music from over 100.000 stations worldwide. Besides, you can earn points online and offline!

The project has been gaining a lot of popularity because it’s proven to be a win-win for all the parties involved.

Current Cash Rewards has been featured on CNBC, Business Insider, FOX0, Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, Inc. and others!

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Very transparent with the pay.
  • Choose from over 100.000 radio stations worldwide.
  • The minimum payout requirement is not too high.
  • Get paid via PayPal and a variety of gift cards.
  • The app is optimized to consume the least amount of battery possible.

Cons

  • There are lots of ads, but hey, that’s where your money is coming from.
  • You will earn half of the reward if you redeem 8000 points.
  • Some people reported missing points after completing offers.
  • The app may open when it’s not in use.
  • You can’t listen to specific artists, only listen to music that is part of a playlist.
  • The possibility of earning offline is not available in the United Kingdom.

How Does Current Work?

Registration

You can download the app for free on the Google Play or App Store, depending on your device.

Next, complete a quick registration form and confirm your email.

You will need to provide your email and a valid phone number to register and cash out.

This reward platform is going viral! Cash out via PayPal, Visa, Gift Cards, and in-game currencies - Click here to find out how to generate an extra $10+ per day!

I also recommend reading the terms and conditions to avoid getting banned.

For example, you are not allowed to use VPN or more than one device for the same ID.

However, you can use two devices per household as long as you have another email and phone number for the second device.

After creating your account, you will earn 200 points, which is worth $0.20.

What’s the Value of One Point?

1000 points = $1. Pretty straightforward!

Earning points

The main way to earn points with Current Cash Rewards is to stream music.

Hit “Explore” and search for radio stations based on your favourite music genre and artists.

Search for your favourite music in over 100.000 radio stations and start playing.

The more you play, the more points you will earn.

Also, Current has a lockscreen feature similar to Slidejoy, and Banners App, which will show you ads every time you unlock your phone.

All you need to do is slide right to keep using your phone or drag up for more music and rewards.

In return, you will earn an extra 150 points per day.

Another way to earn points with Current is to complete offers from partners.

If you are planning to complete offers, be very careful with the ones you choose. Don’t accept any offer without reading the terms and conditions.

I wouldn’t complete offers that require a deposit, because in case you don’t get credited, you will lose money.

How Much Money Can You Make?

You can expect to earn on average, $100 –  $120 per year just for streaming music.

Unfortunately, the developers don’t tell users the amount of time they should listen to music in order to earn that amount.

It’s possible to increase your earnings by answering all the profile questions, playing more music and completing offers.

The company claims that users can earn up to $600 per year, but that would only be possible if you complete lots of offers.

Still, I believe that would be a big challenge!

One person reported collecting 300 points on his first day of streaming music with Current. At this rate, he would reach $9 in one month.

How Do You Get Paid?

Once you reach 25.000 points, you can cash out $25 via PayPal and a variety of gift cards.

The minimum payout requirement is $4 if you redeem via Amazon gift cards. However, you will need 8000 points, which is not a good exchange.

In order to convert 1000 points for $1, you will need to reach 25.000 and cash out $25 instead of $4.

I highly recommend waiting a little bit longer and cash out the higher amount. Otherwise, you will earn half of the reward.

Besides Amazon, there are many other gift card options such as Netflix, Walmart, iTunes, and Google Play.

After you request your payment, Current will promptly send your gift card code via email. So, you don’t need to wait for a physical card to arrive at your address.

Conclusion – Is Current a Scam?

No, it isn’t! Current is a legit application for those who wish to get rewarded just for listening to music.

The best thing about Current is that you don’t need to complete any tedious tasks or offers to collect points.

It’s a decent app to use in your downtime, but it takes a long time to earn a little reward.

Another common issue that many users complain about is the significant number of ads that they are exposed to in order to run the app.

It can be really annoying to see ads popping up all the time!

How to Earn a Full-Time Income from Home

Using apps like Current is a great way to make passive income from your phone.

However, you could be making much more money by taking advantage of affiliate marketing.

Anyone can create a profitable affiliate site and generate $1,000s per month in commissions!

In 2015, I was a complete newbie who had no idea of how to make money online expect by taking surveys.

Then, I found this step by step program, which helped me set up a WordPress site and attract a large audience.

Since then, I was able to reach a full-time income with my website and finally quit my job!

It’s not an easy journey, and there are lots of misinformation out there.

That’s why I highly recommend investing in a high-quality course, one that will teach you everything you need so you don’t waste your time with useless strategies.
