Welcome to my WalkingJoy review!
I was playing a game on my phone when I stumbled across an advertisement for an app called WalkingJoy.
First, it shows a man in an apartment with insane amounts of cash all over the floor and table.
He grabs as many banknotes as possible and tosses them into the air as if he owned the central bank.
At the top of the screen, it reads, “You can really make money walking.”
Then, the commercial suggests you can receive multiple $35 payments by using the free pedometer.
Based on how this app is presented, I have the gut feeling that the cash rewards are fictitious.
So, is WalkingJoy legit or fake? Does it pay for walking? Keep reading before dropping another drop of sweat.

WalkingJoy Review
- Name: WalkingJoy
- Developer: xinxuemei3
- Availability:Â Worldwide
- Price:Â Free
- Payout threshold: $35
- Overall Rating: 1.5/5
What is WalkingJoy?Â
WalkingJoy is a free step counter claiming you can get rewarded just for using the app walking!
It follows the same concept as Sweatcoin, WinWalk, and many others.
Every step will generate tickets, which you can allegedly redeem for real money once you reach the payout threshold.
WalkingJoy has been installed over 100,000 times and rated 4.1 out of 5 on Google Play.
There was a glimmer of hope when I launched the app and found the income potential.
It’s not as high as they make it seem in the advert, but the high cashout requirement is a major red flag!
How Does WalkingJoy Work?Â
Like most free applications, WalkingJoy generates income through advertisements.
That means you will be enticed to watch videos after specific actions and at regular intervals.
This reward platform is going viral! Cash out via PayPal, Visa, Gift Cards, and in-game currencies - Click here to find out how to generate an extra $10+ per day!Â
InstallationÂ
WalkingJoy is available for free on the Play Store and doesn’t require registration.
Also, you don’t need to accept permission before using the app.
While loading the application, it states that the more you walk, the better your rewards!
Next, they ask for personal information so that the pedometer can provide more accurate results.
Simply enter your gender, height, and weight. The developer promises never to share your data with third parties.
Right off the bat, you will win a new user ticket bonus of 50,000. Of course, you must click the button and watch the commercial to collect the tickets!
Converting Steps into Tickets
As with any pedometer, WalkingJoy will automatically count your steps as you begin walking.
It counts your steps outdoors and indoors, but don’t expect it to be very accurate.
After accumulating a few steps, you can convert them into tickets by pressing the “Get Ticket” button in the center.
The good news is that you don’t need to reach the daily goal of 6,000 steps before collecting your tickets.
To earn $1, you must collect around 62,000 tickets by taking approximately 65,500 steps.
What a fantastic stimulus to exercise and stay fit!
The application will calculate your distance, calories spent, and time walking.
One downside of WalkingJoy is that it sometimes works as a lock screen. As a result, you will need to swipe right to unlock your phone, which is very inconvenient.
Earn More Tickets
You can collect more tickets by playing the Super Wheel, Lucky Scratch, and Funny Slot.
Of course, the developer’s tactic here is to entice users to watch even more commercials.
You can play these games for free, but you will have to watch a video at every spin, which takes a lot of time and data.
You won’t get the credits if you don’t watch it. But they force you to watch it even if you reject the reward. It’s crazy!
How do You Cash Out?Â
Open your Wallet and press the withdraw button on the top-right corner.
You will be presented with a list of cashout options, beginning with 2 million tickets for $35 or the equivalent in your currency.
You can supposedly withdraw via PayPal and gift cards.
Is WalkingJoy Legit? Does it Pay?Â
I cannot give you 100% certainty that WalkingJoy won’t pay you because, in this case, I cannot predict the future.
You could get the money, but I doubt the developer will pay you!
The app has some red flags, such as the high payout threshold and the lack of the Terms of Service.
Any legit reward application should provide a document with all the information about the opportunity. Unfortunately, that’s not the case with WalkingJoy!
I tried hard but couldn’t find anyone who received the money.
It takes a very long time to collect 2 million tickets to cash out, but there is no guarantee you will get this money.
At best, the developer only pays a small number of lucky users. So, I wouldn’t be very optimistic about making money with this app.
ConclusionÂ
At first glance, WalkingJoy seems like an excellent opportunity to earn passive income while going about your day or exercising.
However, the chances of being paid by this developer are slim!
They will blast you with a video every 10 seconds while making no guarantee that you will receive the cash incentive.
It would be great if it was real and everyone got their slice of the pie. However, no reward app is obliged to share its revenue with users.
I don’t recommend WalkingJoy because you will waste a lot of data for nothing!
