  1. Excellent article. I am currently in the middle of where your article is. I’m still learning about traffic etc.. You seem to know exactly what you are doing. The information on about the url reminded me that I must always be aware of it. One question that I would ask you is. For example. I have an amazon a store that sells products. Why do I need more affiliate links? Isn’t one enough? I asked that because you would seem to know. Great job

    1. Hi Rob, great to hear from you!Yes, but don’t change the URL later on if you change the keyword in the title. I did this in the past and my page returned the error 404, meaning that the server couldn’t find it anymore. If you just created your post and doesn’t have comments or other interaction, then you can just delete and create another post with the desired URL. Each affiliate link will point to a specific product at amazon. So, for example, if you are talking about a Samsung mobile phone in one post, you want to have a banner (with its specific affiliate link) of that phone in this page. However, if the person enters this link and buys anything else inside Amazon, you get the commission of what they buy.I hope this helps!

  2. Thanks for your strong guide for WordPress, Stefan!
I would like to see in your blog guide for SEO tools such as Moz and Serpstap for finding the right trending keywords. What do you think about that?

    1. Hi George! Your’re welcome!

I have been using Jaaxy for keyword research and I haven’t tried Moz or Serpstap so far.
Thanks for your advice though. I will definitely take at look at them and write a review in the future.

  3. Wow, thank you for this very indepth article about adding keywords to website content.
I really enjoyed it and I like what you said about not really knowing what the algorithm entails. This is where quality content always comes out tops. Trying to write too much for SEO and not for your audience can really be detrimental so thank you for highlighting that writing naturally is important.

    1. Hi LynneWe can do everything right when searching and adding keywords but at the end of the day, you never know where your article is gonna end up.It is really important to make proper research and write from the heart. This will give your articles uniqueness and you will be faster when writing. If your article doesn’t show up on the first page, you will know that other, more important factors, are coming into play. Like your website or page authority. But one thing to have in mind is always move forward. Turn the page and up to your next post. You will never rank well for everything that you do, so try improve your changes by posting more and Google will reward you for the hard work. Thanks for your comment. Have a great day

  4. Great article! I’m still new to the online marketing, so all these informations are like gold to me. Also I have a lot to learn from the way you organize your article. I know it may take some time to become more skilled at this but hopefully I’ll learn in a good pace as I’m progressing. Also your post is so much more easy to read and digest compare to some other websites I’ve been on.

    1. Hi JoonIf you are following a good training you will know in the right time. Or, if you want some help straight away, you can ask your question here or send me an email [email protected]. You have opened my eyes to create an article about how to create menus, organize a website in categories and also insert widgets to the side bar. This is not difficult!Again, if you need any help, please get in touch! Also, thanks for your positive feedback!

  5. This is great article that explains the use of keywords. As an extra, I like to put them in my image alt text and somewhere in an H2 or H3 heading tag.

This will tell Google that the keyword is important for which you will rank better for. If you can also embed a Youtube video with the same keyword, then it will also help.

    1. Hi ViljoenThanks for you great advice! it also helps a lot! I am going to include it in this post, I think it is also really important. All the best and happy new year!

  6. I found this article extremely helpful! It can be confusing to know where and when to use a keyword and this helped break it down into easy steps. One question I have always had was under the All in One SEO, I have always known to update the description but what about the title? If you did change the title (for example to shorten it) does that change the effect your keyword has? Does Google still recognize the title of your post as it remains and the URL? I have always wondered what would happen if you changed the title there to shorten it.

    1. Hi Heather. When you change your title in the All in One SEO pack, I believe it doesn’t affect the power of your keyword. As long as you don’t change the title in the main editor, you are fine. However, I think it is a good idea to keep the title in the All in One SEO pack as it is. People are expecting to see the same thing when they choose a query in Google. I hope that helps. All the best

  7. Hi there! Thanks for sharing this on page SEO information with us. It’s surprising how easy it can be to rank for really good keywords, if you know the right methods to let Google know what you would like to be ranked for. Good keyword research is essential as you said but the methods that you have shown here are great to get started.

    1. Hey Andrew, thanks for your contribution to this topic. Keyword research is important as well as where to add them, but people should not forget that all of their content is getting ranked. For example, I have a post called “is qmee a scam?” However, the majority of people find my articles typing “qmee review” or “what is Qmee” rather than my main keyword in the title. That’s great because I am getting much more visitors than I expected. Therefore, quality content should always be the top priority. All the bestStefan
