WinkWin Review – Can You Cash out £45? Is it Fake?

freecash advert

Welcome to my WinkWin review!

In today’s post, we’re diving into another Android app promising big bucks for playing mobile games.

You know the drill: flashy ads featuring overly enthusiastic people claiming to have earned a fortune just by tapping away. Sound familiar?

WinkWin paints a picture that seems a tad too rosy, and there’s a red flag waving right out of the gate.

Their ads appear to be lifted straight from a different app, Coin Leap, which isn’t even available on the Play Store.

This raises some serious questions – are these the same developers under a different name, or is there some shady ad copying going on?

Anyway, the ad shows this super excited woman looking at her phone and saying, “Oh my gosh, $53 has just been transferred to my PayPal account. Guys, I am in shock right now.”

She then shows the app dashboard with a list of games that supposedly pay out different amounts of money.

It all sounds great, but can you really make some decent cash on the side with this app?

Is it the real deal, or just another fake? I’m here to find out the truth for you.

WinkWin Review

  • Name: WinkWin
  • Developer: Aotter
  • Eligibility: Worldwide – Android
  • Price: Free
  • Verdict: FAKE

What is WinkWin?

WinkWin is a loyalty app that’s been installed 10,000 times already.

The idea is pretty simple: you can earn tokens by playing games from their list, but that’s not all.

You can also score some tokens by installing and trying other apps like Alibaba.

Once you’ve racked up enough tokens, you can cash them out through PayPal.

It all sounds super convenient, but here’s the thing: the app is still in early access on the Play Store, so there aren’t any user reviews yet.

That makes it tricky to know if people are actually earning money from it.

How Does WinkWin Work?

The app is available worldwide and doesn’t require any registration.

However, I do have to give you a heads-up. I checked the Play Store’s Data Safety section and found that WinWin doesn’t encrypt your data.

Not only that but your data can’t be deleted either. That’s a bit concerning.

For those who might not know, encryption protects your information by scrambling it.

Without encryption, your data is more vulnerable to cybercrime, such as identity theft and other risks.

It’s something to remember before using an app like this.

Getting Started with WinWin

When you first open the app, you’ll get a sweet bonus of 30,000 tokens for free. Who doesn’t love a freebie?

Next, you’ll see a notification saying, “Permission required – to give you rewards, we need usage access to record your playtime.”

You’ll get another 20,000 tokens just for agreeing to this.

Tap “Agree,” select WinWin from the app list, and toggle on “Activate usage tracking.”

Understanding Token Value

Now, you might be wondering, how much are these tokens worth in real money?

The app doesn’t tell you straight away, so you’ll have to do some math.

To figure it out, head over to the Redeem page to exchange tokens for cash.

You’ll see how many tokens you need to withdraw a specific amount.

For example, you’ll need 500k tokens to cash out £45.

So, if we do the math, 1,000 tokens are worth about £0.09, and 10,000 tokens are worth around £0.90.

Cashing Out Your First Earnings

Thanks to those bonus tokens, the app lets you cash out £0.20 to your PayPal account immediately, even before you start completing offers.

You only need to enter your name and PayPal email, and the money will be deposited into your account.

Earning More Tokens

You’ll need to start installing and trying out the apps on their list to collect more tokens.

Just choose an app, tap the “Play and Earn” button, and you’re good to go.

Remember, though, that many of these games, like Word Grid Challenge and Copper Boom, have been proven fake.

After installing an app, head to the “My Apps” section to see how long you need to play to earn a specific number of tokens.

You can also complete the newbie task, which involves installing your first two apps, to earn 80,000 tokens as a bonus.

Redeeming Your Tokens

Except for the first £0.20 payout, there are other options: £45 and £90.

When you’ve collected enough tokens, visit the Redeem section and tap “Cash out.”

Right now, PayPal is the only option available for cashing out.

Is WinkWin Legit? Does it Pay?

The developer will pay you the first £0.20… but don’t get your hopes up just yet.

That small amount isn’t a sign of generosity; it’s a calculated move.

It’s a little taste of success designed to give you a false sense of security and make you think bigger payouts are possible.

Think about it: the developer will make decent money from you, so they can easily afford to give you those pennies.

It’s a small price to pay to get you hooked. The goal is to make you believe those tempting £45 and £90 withdrawals are within reach.

But here’s the thing: chances are, those higher amounts are practically unattainable.

Sure, you might initially see a decent number of app offers, but those rewards will dwindle as you play.

Earning tokens gets harder and harder, making it an exhausting grind to reach your goal.

If these apps made it easy to earn serious cash, they wouldn’t be hiding in “early access” on the Play Store.

They’d be viral sensations with millions of downloads because news of effortless money travels fast.

The bottom line? The developer is the one genuinely cashing in, not you.

I’ve reviewed similar traps before, apps like Kash Box that lure users with the promise of easy cash but only end up lining their creators’ pockets.

Honestly, WinkWin raises too many red flags even to be worth the initial £0.20 payout.

From the lack of user reviews to the dubious data practices and those recycled ads, the whole thing is a bit too shady for my liking.

The token grind is likely frustrating and unrewarding, leaving you with wasted time instead of a fatter wallet.
