I have recently discovered Banner App, which allows users to make money by merely unlocking their phones.

More than 500,000 users around the world have downloaded this application and rated it 4 stars out of 5. So, it’s getting viral, but does it really pay? Is Banner app a scam or legit?

What is Banners App?

Banners App is a mobile application that rewards you for viewing ads on your smartphone. It’s very similar to the Slidejoy app!

The ads will appear every time you unlock your smartphone, generating points that will be automatically exchanged for FutureNet dollars (FND) at the end of the week.

The app is only available for Android devices at the moment, but the company has plans of releasing the iOS version in the future.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Earn money passively.
Easy to use.
Earn referral commissions up to the 5th level.

Cons

Low earnings.
No PayPal payments – You can only redeem for FTO cryptocurrency or use FND to buy products on 24Bas.com.
Viewing ads all the time can be annoying.
The app keeps running in the background, consuming battery and internet data.
The minimum payout threshold is too high (20 FDN = $20).

How Does it Work?

Get Started

Download Banners app from the official website http://bannersapp.com or the Play Store.

Next, sign up using your email address and fill in your personal information to receive ads that you might be interested in.

Turn on Ads

To start receiving ads, you must tap the round button and turn on the “allow permission” setting.

If you don’t want to see ads every time you unlock your phone, there is an option to change the ad view intensity to as low as 2 times per 10 unlocks. As a result, your earnings will also be reduced.

After unlocking your phone, you will see a full-screen banner like the one in the screenshot below.

Then, you can either visit the advertiser’s website or close the banner.

How Much Can You Earn?

The value of 1 ad view is calculated at the end of the week when the company divides the total ad revenue by the total number of ad views.

Unfortunately, the maximum number of banners you can watch in a week is 150, and besides, there is an hourly limit of 15 banners/hour.

Banners App claims you can earn up to 5 FN per week, which equals 5 USD.

However, after reading some reviews on the internet, I discovered the more realistic figure is about $1 – $2 per week.

This person claims to have watched approximately 1000 ads and earned $1.37 in one week.

Earnings are very low indeed, but what could we expect from an app that requires almost none of our time and effort?

Well, I said “almost” because it may take you less than 1 second to close the banner.

Viewing ads all the time is a little bit annoying, but what bugs me the most is the fact that Banners App is always running in the background, consuming the battery of my phone. Not much, though.

Also, Banners App consumes internet data, which can only be a problem if you have a very limited data plan.

Referral Program

You have the opportunity to invite friends to install Banners App and earn referral commission on all their earnings up to 5 levels deep.

The commission rate depends on the level of your referral in the structure:

Level 1 – 8%
Level 2 – 4%
Level 3 – 1%
Level 4 – 1%
Level 5 – 1%

For example, let’s say your direct referral earns $8 in a month and refers another friend who earns $8. In this example, you’d earn $0.96 ($0.64 + $0.32).

Payouts

As I mentioned earlier, Banner App will exchange your points to FND every week.

FND is the internal currency that can only be redeemed for Futuro Coin (FTO) cryptocurrency or transferred to a 24BAS account.

In practice, you can only withdraw via cryptocurrencies or use FND to buy products on 24BAS.com.

The minimum withdrawal amount is 20 FND, which is too high in my opinion.

It’s a shame Banner App doesn’t process payments via PayPal or gift cards. In my opinion, exchanging Futuro Coin to USD is very inconvenient.

Conclusion – Is banner App a Scam?

Banner App provides an interesting way to generate passive income from your smartphone.

It has some drawbacks, but it’s definitely not a scam.

Earnings are very slow, so it may take a few months to cash out.
