I have just discovered Appinio, which is a mobile application that lets you complete polls and surveys in exchange for vouchers.

It’s an easy way to collect points and earn some money on the go. But does it really pay? Is Appinio a scam or a legit app?

What is Appinio?

Appinio is an app that allows you to share your opinions on different topics and see how you compare with other members.

By participating in online surveys, you will receive Appinio coins that you can redeem for vouchers and rewards. You are also encouraged to create your own polls.

Appinio is available worldwide for both Android and iOS devices. However, depending on your country, you will not receive surveys, and you won’t be able to redeem coins for vouchers.

In Brazil, which is the country I am reviewing Appinio from, there are no vouchers available.

How Does Appinio Work?

Installation and Registration

Installing Appinio is very quick and accessible via Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS).

To register, all you have to do is sign in with your Google account and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

You will get 50 coins or £0.05 when you sign up.

Collecting Coins

In the UK and Europe, 10 coins equal to £0.01 or €0.01.

When you log in, you can start answering quick and interesting polls (quickies). For example:

Do you use eyeliner?
Do you have chocolate often?
How much do you weigh?
Do you prefer winter or summer?

As you answer more polls, you will be invited to participate in surveys and unlock new levels.

When you level up, you will receive more coins and add new features to your account that increase your earning potential.

The first survey you will be invited to was designed to find out what topics you care about so they can send you surveys and polls that match your interests.

Appinio will notify you if there is a new survey available if you allow push notifications.

Invite Friends

Another fantastic way to boost your earnings on Appinio is by inviting your friends to join the platform. It’s a win-win situation!

As soon as your friend downloads and joins Appinio using your affiliate link, you’ll receive 50 points right away.

But it gets better! When your friend successfully reaches level 14 on Appinio, you’ll be rewarded with a whopping 2500 coins!

Just tap the “Send invite” button, and a pre-made text message with your affiliate link will be generated for you.

All you need to do is send it to your friend.

If they click the link and sign up for Appinio, congratulations!

They become your referral, and you’ll be well on your way to earning those extra coins.

How Much Can You Earn?

Not much! There are very few surveys to earn a decent number of coins.

According to some reviewers on Google Play, surveys are extremely rare, so it takes a long time to cash out.

One woman said she had been using the app for five months and made only $3.50. Another person made $5 in about two months.

Payments

As I am currently in Brazil, I don’t have access to vouchers or any other reward.

However, from my research, I discovered that if you are in the U.S., you need at least $10 to cash out via Amazon and Google Play gift cards. You can also redeem it for charity.
