WowApp is a unique platform that not only provides a messaging but also allows you to earn money from various activities.
The platform, which is available for Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac, shares 70-80% of their advertising revenue when you:
- Chat on your mobile phone.
- Play games.
- Take surveys, install apps, watch videos and complete other tasks.
- Read news.
- Shop online (cashback).
- Browse the web.
- View notification on your lock screen (smart slide).
By using WowApp, you are not only earning WowCoins that you can exchange for cash rewards, you are also automatically donating to charity.

How Does It Work?

WowApp is available as a website that you can use on your computer or as an app, available for Android and iOS devices.
You can download and install WowApp via Google Play or the App Store.
In order to register, you will need to provide an email address and your phone number. You will need to validate your email by clicking on the confirmation link.
Now, you are ready to start earning, and it’s important to know that 100 WowCoins are worth $1.
Instant Earn
In this tab, you can find various activities to make money such as taking surveys, watching videos, completing offers, installing apps, and more.
These tasks are provided by third-party companies like Peanut Labs, Fyber and PollFish Survey.
I have reviewed Peanut Labs in this blog and you should know that regardless of the task, the pay rate isn’t good.
Go Shopping
WowApp has partnered with over 2000 merchants so you can earn cash back on purchases made through the platform.
The cashback amount depends on the store and the product. The problem is that they don’t specify the cashback rate for different products.

Games
There are lots of games available in different categories such as Puzzle, adventure, sports, shooting, etc. You will earn 20% of net revenue by playing games.
Talk
WowApp has a function similar to Skype, where you can call other WowApp users for free and also purchase credits to make national or international calls. You will earn 10% of their net revenue for every paid WowApp call.
News and Chat
This tab allows you to earn WowCoins for making free calls, chatting, reading news, sharing files and more. These activities will pay you 20% of net revenue.
Smart Slide
This function is similar to the one provided by another app called SlideJoy. WowApp will pay you 50% of net revenue for displaying news and advertising on your lock screen.
Smart web
This is a browser extension available for Chrome and Firefox. When you use Smart web, you will earn WowCoins for browsing the web, reading news, taking surveys and shopping.
They say you will earn 50% of net revenue, but it’s unclear whether the different categories offer a different pay rate or not.
Referral Program
WowApp’s referral program is significantly generous compared to other GPT sites. The reason being that your referral network can grow up to 8 levels.
So, you will earn a percentage of your referral’s earnings as well as a percentage of what the referral of your referral earns, up to 8 levels.
How Much Money Can You Make?
It’s a difficult question because WowApp only mentions the percentage you will earn based on their net revenue.
The problem is that you don’t know their net revenue prior to completing tasks so that basically means you have to accept whatever they pay you.
According to my research, I discovered WowApp pay rate is extremely low. Besides, it’s not difficult to find people complaining about not receiving WowCoins.
Cashout
You can cashout via Paypal, Bank account, credit card, mobile credit, and WowCredit. Unfortunately, they don’t specify the minimum payout requirement.
Do Good
The cool thing is they will automatically direct a percentage of your earnings to the charity of your choice. You can choose up to 5 charities from different categories.
It’s also possible to donate any amount from your WowApp account balance.
Final Thoughts – Is WowApp a Scam?
No, I don’t think so. However, I don’t recommend WowApp because it’s confusing, and you don’t really know effectively how much you will earn in most activities.
Some people complain they didn’t receive any WowCoins after playing games, browsing, taking surveys etc. This can be very frustrating!
In my opinion, they should improve their platform to make things clearer for the user.
Verdict: Legit – Not Recommended
If you are searching for a more upfront and user-friendly platform, I can’t recommend Prizerebel highly enough.
