What is MailZingo?

MailZingo is an email marketing software (autoresponder), just like Aweber, Getresponse, MailChimp and many others.

The big difference is that MailZingo is a self-hosted application that allows you to send unlimited emails to unlimited subscribers without having to pay monthly fees.

You will have total control of your email marketing campaigns, which is awesome!

If you are an internet marketer, you probably know that when you have a big list of subscribers, you can make money on demand by sending automated emails with your promotions.

The problem is that if you are just starting out and you still don’t have a big list, you can’t generate a positive ROI (return on investment) due to the monthly fees of a 3rd party autoresponder.

Even if you can make profits, you could save more than $20 per month in monthly fees.

Pros and Cons

Pros

One-time payment – Forget about expensive monthly fees!
More control over your email marketing campaigns.
No restrictions – You can import unlimited email lists without losing a single ID.
You can send unlimited emails.
Attractive in-built lead forms.
User-friendly interface.
Built in statistics.
Easy setup.
Thorough training available – Learn how to use MailZingo, how to boost your opt-in and conversion rates.
Helpful FAQ.
Free trial available.
15 email marketing e-books for personal use.
30 – day money back guarantee.

Cons

You need to install the software, but it’s not difficult if you follow the step by step instructions.
Support can be slower than your cloud-based autoresponder.

How Does MailZingo Work?

After installing MailZingo through your Cpanel and activate your license, all you have to do is upload all your subscribers and set up your campaigns.

You will be able to create newsletters and send emails to your subscribers automatically.

Similar to 3rd Party autoresponders, you can track the stats of your email campaigns and see how they are performing. Also, you can create your own templates or choose from their high-converting default templates.

Mailzingo gives you access to all the important features that other autoresponders offer such as campaign editor, message editor, and forms.

Price and Upsells

Plans

MailZingo has currently three plans to choose from. The only difference between each pan is the number of subscribers you can get per month.

Starter Plan: $17 – 100 subscribers/month
Scale Plan: $47 – 1000 subscribers/month
Pro Plan: $69 – Unlimited subscribers

As you can see, MailZingo is not only great for beginners but also experienced marketers with big lists.

For example, if you use Aweber and get more than 1000 subscribers per month, you’d have to pay $29/month forever! That is $348 that you can use to invest in other important aspects of your business, such as advertising.

Upsells

There are also three upgrades that you can purchase along with each plan.

Upsell #1: MailZingo Elite for $77– It will give you advanced features to help you manage subscribers, advanced message management, 10 high-converting email templates, 10 eye-catching lead forms and the ability to send images & file attachments with emails.

Upsell #2: MailZingo Enterprise for $97 – With this upsell, you can get detailed reports, set unlimited autoresponders for different campaigns, and manage bounces effectively.

Upsell #3: MailZingo With Complete Reseller Rights for $197 – With this upsell, you can sell MailZingo and keep 100% of the profits.

The great thing about MailZingo is that it has a free trial available!

If you visit the website and try to exit the page, you will see this pop-up:

You can install and give it a try completely risk-free! If you decide to purchase, then all you have to do is get the license key and activate it.

Final Thoughts

In my opinion, MailZingo is a great alternative to the popular email marketing service providers.

If you want to have 100% control of your email list and save lots of money, then you should definitely consider investing in a self-hosted autoresponder like MailZingo.

I used Aweber for over 8 months, and the money I earned with my email campaigns didn’t cover my $19/mo fee. So, I decided to cancel my membership as I was actually losing money.

Truth be told, I was not very active with my campaigns, but the problem was that I was not getting enough opt-ins.

Therefore, if I knew about MailZingo at that time, I would have saved over $130, and my campaigns would still be running by now. I will definitely get my license after the free trial and give email marketing the attention it deserves.

That’s it for now. I hope this review was helpful to you. If you still have any question about MailZingo, feel free to drop me a message below, and I will be more than glad to help.

See you next time!
