What is Surveyon?

Owned and operated by a Japanese-based company called Marketing Application, Inc.

Surveyon is a survey website available only for residents in the following Asian countries: Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

It rewards users for sharing their opinions with three leading market research panels:

Lucky Surveys (Survey Sampling International LLC).
Fulcrum (Federated Sample LLC).
Cint Survey.

Pros and Cons

Pros

It’s trustworthy.
Low payout requirement (20,000 points = 2 USD).

Cons

Very low-income potential.
There are not many survey opportunities depending on your country.
It can be hard to qualify for surveys, depending on your profile.

How Does Surveyon Work?

Registration and Profiling

You can join Surveyon for free by providing your email address or Facebook account.

Right after registration, you will be asked to complete profiling questions that allow you to participate in proper surveys in the future.

Different from most survey panels, you will get 50 points for each profiling question.

Surveyon Partners

The next step is to join Surveyon partners, which are the marketing research companies responsible for providing surveys.

There are currently 3 survey partners to join: Lucky Surveys, Fulcrum and Cint Surveys.

Click on the green button “answer” and answer a few more profiling questions from each provider to ensure you receive surveys that match your attributes.

Taking Surveys

Surveyon will send you new survey opportunities based on your profile.

But hold on because there is one more requirement!

You will need to answer some pre-qualifying question to make sure you are the perfect match for the study.

So, as you can see, there are 2 rounds of profiling questions and 1 round of qualifying questions.

The downside is that it can be hard to qualify depending on your profile, and you won’t get paid if you get rejected.

Most surveys are made of multiple-choice questions, but sometimes you will get “free answers” too.

In that case, you should avoid partial answers and meaningless words. Otherwise, you may not have a chance to complete future surveys.

QuickPoll

You can also answer daily polls, but each one is only worth 1 point. As you will see, 1 point is close to 0 USD.

The results of each poll are nicely presented as an infographic in “Trend Report.”

Points and Cash Rewards

Most surveys are worth between 3,000 to 20.000 points depending on its length and difficulty.

They claim you can earn up to 500,000 points (50 USD), but I have never seen an online survey that was worth more than 3 USD.

Maybe they also invite members to participate in focus groups. In that case, it’s possible to earn more.

Once you reach 20,000 points, you will be able to cash out 2 USD via Paypal. It’s a low requirement, so it won’t take too long.

Final Thoughts

Surveyon is a legit survey site for those who live in Asia and want to earn easy money from home.

The problem with online surveys is always the same:

You may not get as many invitations as you want, the pay rate is low, and you will waste a lot of time trying to qualify.
