RewardRoo Review: Can You Really Earn Money From Surveys and Games?
Welcome to my RewardRoo Review!
RewardRoo is a rewards app that lets you earn money by completing surveys and playing mobile games. At first glance, it looks similar to other get-paid-to apps, but it combines these two earning methods with an extra feature called the Wheel of Fortune.
I tested RewardRoo in the UK to see how it works, how much its surveys pay, what you need to cash out and whether playing games is a worthwhile way to earn rewards.
My first experience was fairly positive. The introductory surveys were quick to complete, and I received real monetary rewards for them.
Want to Get Paid for Playing Games on Your Phone?
I tested and compared the best reward apps and sites, so you don't waste time on the fake ones. See which ones actually pay, how low the cash-out minimums go, and which offers are worth your time.
- ✅ Low cash-outs, some from just $1
- ✅ PayPal, gift cards and more
- ✅ Games, surveys and simple tasks
- ✅ Honest tips to avoid tracking problems
Earnings aren't guaranteed and results vary. Treat it as a bonus for time you already spend on your phone.
However, there are some important limitations to understand, particularly if you are thinking about using the app to earn money regularly.
What Is RewardRoo?
RewardRoo is a mobile rewards platform developed by Bohemian Research LLC. Users can earn rewards by answering surveys and completing tasks within selected mobile games.
The idea is simple: complete activities, accumulate rewards and eventually exchange your balance for a supported payment option. In the UK, my app showed a minimum cash-out requirement of £10, with PayPal available as a withdrawal method.
The available redemption options also include Visa and gift cards from major retailers, although the options displayed to you may depend on your location and the current offers in the app.
One thing worth mentioning straight away is that RewardRoo does not give you a sign-up bonus. You have to earn your balance by completing activities rather than receiving free money simply for registering.
How Much Do RewardRoo Surveys Pay?
Surveys are one of the easiest ways to get started because you do not need to install additional games or spend hours progressing through levels.
When I first opened the survey section, RewardRoo offered me a short introductory survey that took less than one minute to complete. I received £0.86 for it.
After completing a survey, the app unlocked the Wheel of Fortune feature. I was able to spin the wheel three times, using energy towards rewards. It adds a small extra activity to the experience and gives you another reason to return after completing surveys.
My next survey was longer, taking approximately six minutes to complete. It paid £0.79. This appeared to be more of a profiling survey, designed to gather information about me so the platform could potentially match me with other surveys in the future.
These first two surveys earned me a combined £1.65. That is a promising start, particularly because the first survey was so short. However, two surveys are not enough to establish a reliable average earning rate. The introductory experience may also differ from what you encounter once you have completed the initial questions.
It is important not to assume that every survey will pay a similar amount. Payments depend on the specific survey, its length and the requirements set by the survey provider.
The problem with survey disqualifications
Like other survey apps, RewardRoo may ask you screening questions before allowing you to proceed. Survey providers are often looking for people with particular demographics, occupations, shopping habits or other characteristics.
You might therefore spend several minutes answering questions only to discover that you do not qualify. Some users reviewing RewardRoo on Google Play have reported being screened out after spending time on a survey, while others have complained about surveys crashing or rewards not appearing correctly.
This is one of the main frustrations with survey platforms generally. The estimated duration does not guarantee that you will qualify, and the time you spend answering screening questions may not translate into a meaningful reward.
How Does the Wheel of Fortune Work?
One feature that makes RewardRoo a little different is its Wheel of Fortune.
After completing surveys, you can unlock the wheel and use energy towards rewards. In my initial experience, completing a survey allowed me to spin the wheel three times.
This adds a game-like element to what would otherwise be a straightforward survey app. Instead of simply answering questions and watching your balance increase, you have another feature to interact with after completing an activity.
However, it is worth keeping your expectations realistic. The wheel should be treated as an additional reward feature rather than a dependable source of income. The value of the rewards you receive, how energy is accumulated and how quickly you can use the feature will determine how worthwhile it is over time.
I would not base an earnings estimate on the wheel without tracking the rewards it actually gives you over a longer period.
Can You Earn Money Playing Games on RewardRoo?
Yes. RewardRoo also offers game-related earning opportunities, which can appeal to people who prefer playing mobile games to answering surveys.
The system works differently from simply getting paid a fixed amount for downloading a game. Typically, you choose an offer, install the promoted game and complete specified objectives within a deadline.
For example, I saw an offer for Foodstars: Merge & Cook that required users to unlock level 8 within 180 days to earn £0.10.
That example illustrates how these offers work. RewardRoo lists a target and a reward, and you must meet the stated condition for the reward to become payable. Other offers can involve reaching higher levels or completing multiple milestones, with different rewards attached to each stage.
Some game offers require you to allow usage tracking or related permissions so the platform can attribute your progress to the offer. Read the permission requests and offer conditions before proceeding. If tracking is not enabled correctly, or your progress is not recorded, there is a risk that you may not receive credit for the milestones you complete.
The downside of game offers
The biggest issue is the relationship between the effort required and the reward.
A game might advertise a relatively attractive total reward, but the higher-paying milestones can require a substantial amount of playing time. You may need to progress through many levels, wait for resources to regenerate, complete repetitive tasks or make steady progress over several days or weeks.
There is also a deadline. An offer might give you 180 days to reach a target, as in the Foodstars example, but a long deadline does not automatically make the objective easy. Some games become increasingly difficult or time-consuming as you advance. You might spend hours playing and still fail to reach the required level before the offer expires.
Another concern is tracking. Some RewardRoo reviewers report that game time or progress was not always recorded accurately. If the app fails to recognise that you reached a milestone, you could have difficulty receiving the advertised reward.
For these reasons, I would examine each offer individually. Check the exact milestone, deadline and reward before installing anything. Do not assume that the total advertised payout represents easy money or that every milestone will be achievable.
I would also avoid spending money inside a game just to complete an offer unless you have carefully considered the cost and the risk. Spending money to unlock a reward can easily defeat the purpose of using a rewards app.
What Is RewardRoo’s Minimum Cash-Out?
For UK users, the minimum withdrawal shown in my experience was £10.
PayPal was available, alongside Visa and gift cards from major retailers. The exact selection can change, so check the redemption section in your account before spending time earning toward a particular option.
A £10 threshold is important because your displayed balance is not the same as money you have already received. You must first earn enough eligible rewards to reach the minimum, then submit a withdrawal request and wait for it to be processed.
RewardRoo’s official FAQ says withdrawals can take up to 48 hours. Some app reviewers report receiving PayPal payments within minutes, while others describe delays or problems with withdrawals. These are individual experiences, not a guarantee of how quickly your own payment will arrive.
I would judge the app by successfully withdrawing a reward, not simply by seeing a balance appear on the screen.
Can You Earn More by Inviting Friends?
RewardRoo also has a referral feature. According to the details available in the app, you can invite friends and earn 10% from each referred friend.
Referral rewards can provide an additional earning opportunity if people you invite actively use the platform. However, I would not treat referrals as guaranteed income. The value of this feature depends on the applicable referral conditions and the activity that qualifies for commission.
It is better to assess the surveys and game offers on their own merits rather than assuming that inviting people will make the app substantially more profitable.
What Do Other Users Say About RewardRoo?
The Google Play reviews I examined were mixed, although many users reported positive experiences with the app’s interface, surveys and withdrawals.
Some reviewers said they successfully cashed out within a few days and received their money through PayPal. Others liked having both surveys and games available, giving them alternatives when one type of task was unavailable.
There were also recurring complaints. Some users said they were disqualified from surveys after spending time answering questions. Others reported limited survey availability, game progress not tracking properly, missing balances following an update or withdrawals that had not arrived.
These reviews should not be treated as a definitive measure of how frequently problems occur. They do, however, highlight the practical risks of relying on an app where rewards depend on third-party surveys, game tracking and withdrawal processing.
Is RewardRoo Worth Trying?
RewardRoo has a few appealing features. My first two surveys paid £0.86 and £0.79, the introductory survey took less than a minute, and the Wheel of Fortune provides an extra activity after completing surveys. The game offers give users another way to accumulate rewards, and the UK cash-out threshold I saw was £10.
The main drawback is that earning rewards is not necessarily the same as earning money efficiently. Surveys can screen you out, available tasks may vary, and game milestones can demand many hours of play for relatively small payments.
Even when an offer advertises a larger reward, there is no guarantee that you will finish it within the deadline or that your progress will track correctly.
My advice is to start with the short surveys, monitor how much you actually earn and check whether the rewards are credited properly. If you try the games, choose offers whose requirements and deadlines look realistic for the time you are willing to spend.
RewardRoo may be useful for collecting occasional extra rewards during spare time, but I would not regard it as a dependable source of income. Your results will vary depending on survey eligibility, task availability, game progress and successful reward tracking. Earnings are not guaranteed, and the time required may outweigh the value of some offers.
